I've been using this "leash" for 20 years now, and I use it for my cats, I first started using it for my cat who was getting himself into trouble and I was asked to keep him home, along with the Petsafe harness this is the perfect size and weight for my cats, the first one grew old and passed away, But I have 2 cats and started them with the Petsafe harness and leashes when they were kittens and I can tell you that both are very happy with the entire run of the yard and I don't have to worry about anyone getting run over by a car or into my neighbors yards, this is the great product but only needed to be replaced because one of the leashes was run over by the lawnmower!! So I ordered a couple more just in case, and the price is right for a 20' and a extra 12' incase of a extension, I highly recommend this product 👌
