Stop looking. There honestly can't be a better dog bed out there.
I rarely take the time to leave a review, but this thing is so great, I had to. Plus, when my mutts are pretending to be spokesmodels for this bed, I figured I had to share the pictures!Backstory: The big white dog, North (her name is from the shelter where I adopted her...she and her siblings were all named after mountain-y type things--a nod to their prominent breed, Great Pyrenees. I feel like I need to explain that she is NOT named after a certain famous baby...haha), is FIVE MONTHS OLD. As you can see, she's going to be GIANT. Since she was going to have to be in her kennel for a few more months (at least), I wanted to feel ok about going to bed with the other two mongrels and leaving her out there. Yeah, I know. I'm crazy. In any case, the bed was delivered about 40 mins ago and this has been our experience so far:Picture 1: I opened the box and threw the bed on the floor to let it start to fill out since it arrives compressed. She couldn't get on it fast enough! What you see there is the internal waterproof cover which is nice enough to be the only cover. But it's not.Picture 2: The "Boss" decides he'd like to test out the outer super-soft gray cover. Please notice the confused look on the puppy's face. The zipper on this cover is heavy-duty and kind of cool. Like, I noticed how nice the zipper was! Weird.Picture 3: North remembers how big she is and that I had mentioned the bed was for her so she walked right over and plopped down on it next to the "Boss" (who really isn't the boss anymore. Different story for a different day).Picture 4: I put it in her ridiculously big kennel (that I built a table top and a "skirt" to cover since it's bigger than most of my furniture) and it fit perfectly. She went right in (with her favorite toys) and has been asleep, without re-adjusting her position for 20 mins to get comfortable, ever since.Picture 5: The instruction sheet that is included....very informative and as a fellow business owner, I especially like #3 :) And OBVIOUSLY I had to follow that direction and, man, that's a lucky dog!Not pictured: the SECOND cover--brown microsuede with the rubber grippy things on the bottom. (It shows that I ordered the brown cover, but I don't remember. I like them both so it doesn't matter).I own 6 dog grooming/DIY dogwash shops and will be sharing this with our customers ASAP. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this is the highest quality thing I've ordered in quite some time. And I order a LOT of things ;) I'm going to go ahead and order two more and get rid of the beds I have now for the other dogs. Really great job, y'all!p.s. In case it's not clear, I found this on my own and I paid full price for this. As mentioned, I'm an avid Amazon shopper and I read a lot of reviews. Personally, I'm SO FREAKING SICK of reading a review and not having any idea if it's genuine. This one is!

Great dog beds!
I have three aging Labs (12, 11 1/2 and 10) and I wanted something really supportive for their declining hips. These beds are awesome. They really are literally like an orthopedic bed and my babies love them!10 Month update: Just an FYI, these beds do not mash down over time. They are by far the best dog beds I've used over the past 13 years and 4 Labs. Well worth the price, especially since the covers (inner nylon and outer fabric) are fully washable. I don't anticipate having to replace these, as I have numerous times over with previous beds. They are really cushy and my dogs love them!!

First of all, YOU MUST LET THIS MATTRESS SIT OUT FOR 24 HOURS after removal from the box. Or, you can be an idiot like I was, and email the company and tell them the mattress isn't the size it was advertised to be! lol! I measured it at a short 45" when I took it out of the box, and was very upset. However, after they replied and told me what to do, it did indeed expand to the correct measurements. (It even expanded with my dog laying on it, which I thought was pretty cool!) So be sure and read the instructional insert that comes in the box.We bought this bed for our 68-lb. mixed breed, Piper, who will be 15 in April. She has arthritis in her back, and her back legs are weak. Prior to finding this bed, she was laying on the cushions from our love seat that we laid out on the floor for her. They were deep, though, and she was starting to have trouble getting "out" of them. So we wanted something less soft, and less deep. This mattress looked perfect. And judging from how she is sleeping on it, and laying on it most of the day, I would say it is.A couple of negative reviews on here were with regard to the waterproof lining that really wasn't/isn't waterproof. I think if you trust waterproof linings, and they don't work, that's really on you. With dogs, you always need to put extra safeguards in place. I also don't want to be washing this cover if she has an accident; I want it to stay beautiful. So here's my solution, and how we have it set up for Piper: the mattress is covered with a blanket. On top of the blanket, we have waterproof crib pads from the baby section at Wal-Mart (you can get waterproof baby stuff in all different sizes, which is wonderful), and on top of that, we have a really soft gray throw that's tucked "in" so it looks very neat. This will solve the "is it waterproof or isn't it" with the inner lining. It will also keep the padding from having dog odors just from laying on the cover with no other covering on it. (And the crib pads DO work. When a 68-pound dog pees, it's a lot of pee, and these pads have caught them all, after being partially absorbed by the blanket.I highly recommend this bed for any dog to sleep on, especially large dogs. The covers (you get two) are sewn so nicely that I had trouble finding the zipper, as it's hidden under a seam. The mattress is very firm, and not made with cheap foam. This is definitely memory foam. The mattress shipped the same day I ordered it. I can't say that will always happen, but I was thrilled. My email was also answered promptly, and courteously, as were all of the follow-ups.In closing, if you're thinking of a bed for your dog, this one is top of the line.

Worth it. I was so impressed with the first one, I bought 3.
I did a lot of research on beds, pricing & quality (The price of these things gets nuts)! I finally took a chance with this one. I love that it has easily removable washable covers. That was a top priority for me. Some say washable covers, but you have to take the whole bed apart. This is one easy zip. The fabric seems to be holding up really well. I wash them every week and after about a year they still look pretty new! The memory foam is a great thickness. I have two 70 lb dogs. They can both squish on the XL size, but lay out with a lot of room otherwise on their own. At first I was concerned it didn't have bumpers, but since they are at the foot of every bed and couch it became a better idea so I didn't trip on them. Highly suggest getting one, I have 3.
