Mind bending book, not sure how I even heard of it. It will turn your understanding of reality in its head. Its a short book but, one that I had to put down for a week after reading a chapter to meditate on and, then start again. It's written in the style of a lawyer taking to a jury, the reader being the jury. The history of Western science is well how shall I put this, not the author words, bollox. Well to do eccentrics indulging in luxurious hobbies that went on to influence society and reality in odd ways that we may never be able to emerge from. Due to some of the taboo ideas we would have to overcome to get back to reality. The way they claim they triangulated Mars on a rotating Earth, with a yearly orbit is once pointed out, laughable now. They are either mad stupid or just plain lying. After reading this book you will never look at the night sky, scientific history or your relationship to any of the above the same way again. One of the best books I have ever read. Buy it before they ban it.

Amazing, a lot of what we are taught and take for granted is called into question with this book, and it is hard to disagree with Hickson. This book lead me into further research. The rabbit hole is deeper than I ever imagined.

I thought this was going to be a history of astronomy and the trials and tribulations to get to our modern understanding. However the book is just the author attempting to discredit all non biblical theories with his assumptions.It also wasn’t made clear anywhere on the book but this was published in 1920 so has been further discredited since. A lot of the other reviews seem to assume this is a modern text.If you like science then avoid this book, I’ll be putting my copy in the bin.

A very interesting and well written book that clearly verifies the claims it makes. I recommend this book to anyone interested in this very important topic.

Wowza. I do put trust in the authors statements that certain astronomers have said and done things in theor careers that theyve been known for. I figure he woulsve been corrected if wrong, so therefore every point he made was simply flabbergasting. We've been told something is Law when its been literally based on assumptions and metaphysics.Going to read it again to really ingrain the info. Small book straight to the point.

FOLKS; IF you really want to KNOW history in it's straight forward no nonsense CLARITY, so you CAN SEE just what n how the ;'comptrollers' over society have done; with this topic flat earth and geo-physics etc.; Gerrard has done this[1922]; a 100yrs ago "they" should be put to shame for hiding this study...BUT there is an agenda out there to keep truths silent and not available to question - according to some. "i" could go on but suffice it to say this is just about as comprehensive a work anywhere. Caution; caveat: Do NOT come settled in on any kind of preconceptions; this is NOT infotainment; therefor...LISTEN HONESTLY and you can learn so yearn so! Never stop asking questions; Thanks for now.

Gives an in-depth, comprehensive, exhaustive, written almost 100 years ago, look at the evolving history of the Pantheistic Religion of the Atheist (Scientism), which is clearly refuted by science, history and observation alike. Like one stone laid upon another, without tempered mortar, the theories of Scientism are candidly discussed, staring with Hipparchus and continuing through Copernicus, Galileo, Ole Roemer, Kepler, Einstein and such topics as the Theory and Principles of Relativity, various computations of the sun and other heavenly body's distances, Eclipses Triangulation, Nebulars, Equatorial Parallax and more. A great read for anyone interested, although even written on leaves of gold it could not be valuable to those whom retain their cognitive dissonance of present logic and reason spawning from unordered chaos. A good resource for honest, Biblical, refutations of these (currently, abundant) heretical kingdoms and their shallow ideologies.
