Metric faucet woes solved!!
The media could not be loaded. After going to SEVEN hardware stores, including two specialty plumbing stores, nobody had the part I needed for this European faucet. Every shop had plenty of standard sizes, but not metric. My diverter for my water filtration system was literally held onto the faucet spout with plumbing tape!!! It was hideous and barely functional. This adapter literally has erased this daily stressor from my life. It fits perfectly, with no leaking!!! I found this after measuring the inner diameter of my faucet at 18mm. I needed an adapter to convert to a standard sized diverter, and the job is finally DONE.

Works with Moen faucets with the Cache (hidden) aerators
Perfect part. Took some time/googling to figure out what would work on my Moen "Eva" bathroom faucets. The way my faucets were installed, there is only about 1 inch of room to wash your hands. The water stream was just too close to the edge of the sink. Always hitting my hands against the back of the sink.Moen uses these "cache" (hidden) type aerators. The threads are male M18.5x1, and there are no swivel type aerators that will screw into the female threads inside the faucet.Thank you Neorperl and Amazon for stocking this adapter. Worked perfectly. Since i have the oil rubbed bronze, I took some brown paint and painted the shiny chrome adapter. Attached a Danco Swivel Dual Thread Sprayrator, and am a happy camper. It would be great if Moen would include these adapters, or even make a plastic brown one. Other than confirming the thread size, Moen customer service was zero help in assisting on how to adapt their design to use a standard swivel aerator. They even what as far as to say "You will not be able to use a standard aerator on your faucet spouts." Glad they were wrong.

Fits Moen Eva bathroom faucet spout!
I needed to add a swivel aerator to my Moen Eva spout to direct the water away from the back edge of the basin. The swivel aerator adapter did not fit the spout thread. I purchased another adapter I thought would fit. It didn't. I contacted Moen and their service rep. was unable to provide any helpful information, like their thread size is a freaking secret. I took a chance on the Neoperl cache adapter. I thought the diameter was a close match to the spout size (after measuring the Moen aerator with a caliper and converting the M18.5 thread diameter to the decimal inch size) but was unsure about the threads per inch because it is a metric size thread going into an Imperial sized spout. Fortunately this cache screwed easily into the spout and the swivel aerator screwed right onto the 55/64" threaded end of the cache. I spent way more time researching cache adapters than I had patience. I am glad I finally "stumbled" onto something that works.

This fits my Voss faucats! Able to attach RO/DI water filter to bathroom sink
I went to EVERY HARDWARE store in the area, including a specialized one for plumbing. Neither Lowe's nor Home Depot carried anything that would attach to my blue "Tiny Junior" sized aerator. I couldn't even find an aerator key to remove it. The plumbing store was kind enough to give me a spare aerator key that came with one of these types of faucets. Apparently some Ikea faucets have this size aerator as well. None of the ones at the hardware store even used the same unit of sizing (mm vs inches). So you need THIS piece to convert your faucet to a "normal" sized aerator head, and then I bought a separate item that was a faucet to garden hose adapter. This worked perfectly with that other item.My use was for making aquarium water, and I have my RO/DI unit installed above my toilet in a spare bathroom, and connected it to the sink and it drains into the bathtub for making aquarium water. Worked perfectly.Just don't bother going to the hardware stores, they do NOT have the parts you need.

The IKEA piece you've been looking for
I searched high and low at Home Depot, Lowes, and several local hardware stores - none had the piece I needed for this specialty sink (TJ/Tiny Junior). Item came within two days and was the exact piece I needed with very easy installation. Note: does not come with a filter aerator, just metal adaptor.

Finally no more splashing
Kohler kitchen Faucet from the box had a key type aerator that was like a clear stream of water that splashed like crazy, This replacement Cache Adapter allowed me to use a standard female aerator (also purchased from Amazon) that now streams perfectly due to the honey comb design and splashing is gone.with no loss of pressure. I am so happy! Just be careful to match the adapter to the proper size for your Faucet .

Not a place to get wrench on it to tighten
Could not get to seal inside faucet used Teflon tape did not work.I then used plumbers paste on threads it still dripped .I think going steel to plastic was the problem and I messed up the lower threads trying to get tighter to seal.
