High quality fresh coffee
Usually I put sugar or milk in my coffee to cover any bitterness. I drank this coffee black and it was wonderful, full body, smooth and for me a slight chocolate aftertaste. I bought more right away for stash. I would say it has mid to strong amount of caffeine without causing tummy issues or shakiness. When I opened the bag the aroma was enticing, it is fresh coffee. I made it in my small copper pot with one tablespoon of coffee. It is not finely ground to a powder, it is a a little less finely ground. Definitely high quality coffee. The bag did split when opened, so I put the coffee in a mason jar.

Cafe Lareño is the #1 coffee in puerto rican households. The owner is also an incredibly nice man. I highly recommend this coffee, especially in a moka pot or espresso machine
