Usually I don't buy stuff like this, but who doesn't love Johnny 5 and this just makes me happy. It's a great little kit that, while not difficult, provides a great deal of building fun. I got this item on sale so the price was great. I wouldn't say this is the most durable "toy" but I bought it to be a static model for my office and it just looks great. This Johnny 5 model provides just the right balance of movie accuracy combined with a lego feel that's just so much fun. There is another model in this price range floating around out there but that one just doesn't seem to capture the spirit of Johnny 5 in my opinion while this one hits the mark. If your looking for a highly accurate movie quality replica this isn't it but you can expect to pay $$$ for something like that. It's great for building with the kids too. If you love Johnny 5 this is a must have.

Absolutely love building this no missing parts no tricky issues absolute perfection. I recommend anyone who’s a fan of building blocks or the nostalgia of movies from the 80s. This is such a fun build to do my absolute favorite. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

It will take a significant amount of time to assemble. It is a very fun build. The outcome is very nice. Mine was missing a part but I had enough Legos to match the missing piece. This seems to be a constant from other reviews. I still like it alot.

Went together pretty well. Not as sturdy as I wished but it’s close. For the price and it not being a Lego product they did a great job. Happy with the purchase.

Fun easy build, took me about an hour. Directions are very easy to read which makes it fun for the builder

At first I thought I was missing pieces because one of the pieces looks different in the instructions until you get to another page and then in makes sense. He’s so cute and a really good price compared to the name brand. I love him.

I was a kid in the 80s and loved SC1+2. So I had to get this when I saw it was on sale for BF. Was a fun nostalgia trip down memory lane and really makes me want to watch the movies again.. Been building Lego for like 40 years and have built many knock off Lego as well. So I'll break it down in a quick pros/cons Pros: Coloring is good and overall is a decent representation of Johnny 5. Price is fair Pieces seem solid. They don't feel too different than the Legos you're used to. Coloring is good as well. Decent representation of J5 for the money. He feels solid, although his shoulder gun and the way it attaches is kinda lame. So I guess that parts a mixed bag 😉 Cons: The instructions miss key steps and don't really show things properly. Usually these issues are found out a step down the line when you better understand where the build is heading. Can be frustrating at times - even for seasoned Lego heads. Pieces are missing. Bags are all numbered for top/bottom. Would be better to further break down bag#s I to smaller build steps. Like these are for the head, this bad for the hands, etc. Packaging is very basic/bland. They really could do a lot better here, especially for the collecting aspect.
