Grease based, fine grit, but maybe a little coarser than expected.
Worked fine on new intake and exhaust valves to check them after cutting seats with carbides. Cut fast, cleaned up easily.It kind of seems a little coarser than I was expecting.I messed around with some old diesel injectors trying to lap in/clean the pintles, but it is probably too coarse for that.
