My mother's house suffered storm damage and needed 2 pieces of vinyl siding replaced. I watched some videos and they all recommended getting one of these tools. This one seemed to be one of the better made ones. Since I'm not a pro it took a little time but I figure this tool easily saved her a couple of hundred dollars over the cost of hiring a contractor.

I used this tool to repair a section of vinyl siding I had accidently separated off the starter strip with a rake while trying to do some lawn work...Took me a couple minutes, and some coordinating of my hands, pulling down with one and pushing in with the other, but I got it...Took about 3/4 tries, but I got it...Would recommend this tool, for sure!!

Does the job. Did not warp in any way but I only used it for a few panels.

I to remove a piece of vinyl siding to install an electrical outlet and this popped the piece back into place easily with no damage to the lock tab edge.
