Absolutely Brilliant
So had my doubts about these, but I am ecstatic with the result. Put some cling film in it, drip of oil (so it doesn't stick to cling film), close the poacher, drop it in some water. Turn it over. Take it out, open up and BINGO.... Absolutely love this bad boy..... No issues at all, great eggs as a result. I wont lie, learning how long to leave it in has been an art... Raw eggs are YUCK.... But thats a user error, not the poacher. My wife loves her eggs from this...

Good product, ignore the timings
This works really well, but the person who wrote the instructions for cooking times had a personal vendetta against poached eggs. I decided to suspend my disbelief and follow the instructions to the letter for runny yolk (I hate any set yolk) and the result was only the tiniest uncooked yolk in the middle, so I’m going to pull the cooking time right back and find what works because the timings given are out. For ease I just sprayed some fry light onto the portions they suggest brushing with olive oil, and I did this because it saved my cleaning a brush and ramekin later, and had no issues with thisAside from that the use of the product was perfect and will be really helpful to those who aren’t comfortable doing whirlpool poaching or can’t get hold of eggs fresh enough for the whirlpool to work. Will allow me to easily make poached eggs conveniently with greater regularity

Makes Excellent eggs
Makes poaching eggs easier as you can use eggs which are a few days old and still get a perfect egg. Take a few times to practice to get it right but once you get the hang of it they're great

What's the point?
I love Joseph products, but this one does not deserve a high rating because you can achieve perfectly good poached eggs using a a poacher pan with cups, or you can just drop the eggs into shallow pool of water and gather up the whites conveniently and quickly. Certainly no need for this faffing about.

Not impressed with this product, the eggs ran out of the bottom before I could even get them in the pan
