The shape is quite spectacular and unique.Nevertheless, this wooden pull along toy works wonders for my niece, she absolutely loves it! It has a lengthy, cotton string and cut out middle design for easy grip for little hands. The pull along design encourages creative play and develop hand-eye coordination.It would make a wonderful gift and new addition to your child’s toy collection!

The media could not be loaded. I love this wooden toy. It is smooth wood, finely sanded and painted. This can be held and pulled or even pushed. I like the fact that this has a face painted on both sides of the toy and it is gender neutral.However, whilst this is described as a ‘monkey’ it does not look much like a ‘monkey’ to me. Plus the shoe string pull-along cord has not been finished well. Even a knot rather than a frayed end would be more appropriate.Whilst I appreciate that this is designed in the UK, it is in fact made in China. The back of the box proudly states that it is ‘environmentally-friendly’ but shipping from China is not green and neither is the plastic outer wrapping in which this arrived.

The media could not be loaded. This is a delightful toy, simple, cute and perfect for any toddler. I have a 2-year-old grandson who helped me make the video, short but sweet. I also have a 7-month-old grandson who doesn't seem to be interested in crawling but loves pulling himself up to his feet although he doesn't yet have the strength to stand alone. I think we all feel he'll be up by his birthday in May. Who knows🤷🏼.

The giraffe is NOT Made from Wood! I bought it because the description said wood but The giraffe appears to be mdf. My daughter is teething and as such she managed to scratch the surface of the giraffe with her teeth. That’s how we discovered it’s NOT Made from wood the giraffe! It appears to be MDF which is very dangerous as it is Made from various glues which are extremely dangerous for the health. This means my daughter who is one ate pieces of it because of the misleading description from this brand which is omitting to say that it’s Made from mdf! I would never bought it if it said mdf!!! Don’t buy it!!!

Got this for our soon-to-arrive baby since my wife is pregnant, and we're starting to collect toys, adding to the ones we saved from our daughter. Pull-along toys are timeless favourites for little ones. This one, in particular, is well-designed with round edges, a nice colour, and easy for tiny hands to grab. The texture and overall design are great. However, there's a small issue with the pull-along string. It's quite short, around 50cm, and while I get it's for safety, it feels a bit too brief. Also, there's no handle to make pulling it easier, it's just a frayed end, and the string seems a bit low quality; mine even has a defect (check the pictures). It's not a major problem, but it stands out compared to the toy's overall quality appearance.

My niece has not long turned one (yay), so this 'Matchstick Monkey'-brand 'Monkey' is an age-appropriate toy for her.This friendly-looking Monkey has smooth contours, is made from Beechwood and has a pull-along cotton string. Obviously your baby should always be supervised when playing with any toy which has rope or string!The Monkey's shape is easy to hold and carry (with a circular cut out section inside the Monkey's 'body'), and is just the right size for little hands.Niece hadn't quite got the hang of the pull-along function; she dangled Monkey by the string at first! But a few adults showed her what to do! She's now happily pulling Monkey around on the floor.One of the four wheels has the 'Matchstick Monkey'-branding, in varnished wood, which adds a little contrast against the Green / White painted head and body.Not too heavy, tactile and cheerful, my niece has been 'talking' to Monkey and he's been accompanying her on her toddle travels around the house all day today.Happy to recommend Monkey as a new play companion for your young tot!

Got this for my nephew (9 months) who seemed to quite like it (after playing with the box first) ... It is a well made beechwood "turquoise monkey on wheels" if that makes sense, with a pull along draw string and an "easy grip" hole for tiny hands ... Looks pretty indestructible and painted with a "non toxic" water based matt finish which is good as no doubt he will try to eat it at some point :)I like the idea of wooden toys for kids ... Makes sense to have a toy that that is "biodegradable" as inevitably they will grow out of it at some point and it will end up as landfill ... That being said ... The packaging contains a small amount of plastic in the "window" of the box ...On the whole this is a nice little gift for a toddler ... "cute"

Cute and excellent quality as you would expect from this brand.Nicely finished, all the edges are smooth and it’s painted with non toxic paint, so no need to worry if your toddler has a go at chewing on it.The string is a little short if your child pulls it along when standing up. I understand this is to lessen any choking risk.It’s small and light, so easy for little hands to carry around.Nicely packaged so great for giving as a gift.Whilst I do like the look of it, I’m not sure it would offer much play value, it’s one of those toys that kids lose interest in very quickly.Hope you find my review helpful
