Be careful of this shade,I would not use it without mixing with darker shade unless you are a true raggedy Ann redhead!(orange head more like it!)Some people are born with orange hair & it looks natural but if u weren't,then better mix with a brown. Colorsilk in general tho' is great product.

Very pleased with outcome

Been using this hair color for years, as I can't use ammonia and it has the bright coppery color I enjoy. But I have to be honest, I gave this a few tries just to be super fair, and every time, the last three colors, it's failed me. It didn't used to. It seems the recent formula change has compromised the performance. I'm heart broken and don't know what I'm going to do. It claims to be the best hair color, and I believe it once was, but I cannot get a full coverage at all, no matter how thorough I am, it's patchy. I follow instructions. Again, been using it for years along with the butter cream line... It does not cover evenly.Worse, the color comes out after the first wash, and I only wash 1-2 times a week! I'm so disappointed. I never had this issue before whatever changes were made.Positives: It's gentle, it doesn't smell bad, it doesn't hurt my sensitive scalp. Love the conditioner. But spending all that energy with the desire to avoid coloring more than once every few months or so (which I could before) only to have to buy touch up spray, which I hate because it's drying, messy and makes me itch, after my first wash almost a full week later with color safe and preserving products? No.I've got to figure out something else. Sad.Also, I use Bright Auburn and can NEVER find it anymore! Then I can't find the intense buttercream in red. What is happening, Revlon?! You are a favorite beauty brand, but this isn't good.I can say that it's still the lowest cost for color. But if you have to constantly dye then...But my main concern isn't about money, it's about not wanting to redye constantly causing damage to my hair. Plus it's a lot of wasted time and I no longer have that nice feeling that I've got a fresh color because I'm so bothered by the visible patchiness where it's not covering and the fact that I'm back to feeling frumpy in a week. I want my color to last a hot minute!Lastly, I noticed that my hair didn't feel as soft post color after conditioning. I used to feel super soft and my hair now feels kind of rough. I don't know. It's just clear thst the formula has involved cutting corners and the quality has suffered.Revlon no longer deserves the #1 color position. Sorry.I hope you fix it and do better. You had a great product.

Hair color is good

This is my natural hair color, but them stubborn grey's show up and I have to do something about it..I'm to young for grey hair!😂 Anyway it does a great job, comes our exactly as it says if you follow the instructions anyway🤷 and does last while,.like maybe 3 or 4 weeks so definitely not permanent.😂. I'm would buy it again, but I gave it 3 stars on the price because I used to get this for $1.88 a box and now it's almost $10, but I love the way my hair comes out when I get use it😊

It covers grey very well and lasts right about 5 weeks. Closest to natural Auburn red I have found. Sunshine in a box!

Colour: reddish brown…( most people do not put the colour which isn’t much help) It’s good quality and left hair soft and shiny. I’m a natural red head and would have preferred it to have more red as it is not as red as on the box but if you scroll down in description the seller has put brown on description which I seen AFER I used it lol . In saying that, it depends on your hair colour how it’s going to come up and also the amount of time you leave it on. If your hair is blonder or light red it will be a bit lighter but still fairly dark muted reddish brown. If your hair is dark and your looking for a red result I’d say it not the best for you. If you want a bright red or copper result this is NOT the one for you. But it does give a nice natural result. And a good winter colour. Red dyes are getting harder to come by for some reason, it’s a fight to find any at all really. So I was pretty desperate to even find one. I suggest you do a strand test if you’ve purchased it and are unsure. You can always add highlights as well. Would I purchase it again? I’d definitely purchase again if it was a colour with more red in it. I just don’t get the shortage of dyes for red heads, there’s only a couple to chose from these days, at least in my country, Northern Ireland.. it’s just not fair. 😕👩‍🦰

When I saw this colour, I thought it would be worth trying. The product arrived relatively quickly, considering the distance it had to be shipped and arrived in good condition, well packaged. I found that it applied fairly easily and spread well. I have very long hair and one bottle was just enough. I wasn't too keen on the smell and was a little nervous when I rinsed out the dye, as my hair felt very coarse. However, once I had applied the conditioner and left it in for the two minutes, my hair was beautifully soft and smooth. The colour is lovely and although it isn't absolutely even, it in fact, seems to have a more natural appearance as a result. I am very happy with the product and hope that it doesn't fade too fast.

I absolutely adore this product and the colour, finding it really hard to get anymore in the light Auburn, will you be selling more?.....hopefully so, i'm a natural redhead but need to dye my hairline as it's coming in not grey but white lol, it's a redhead thing, no salt and pepper grey for us....no we go straight to Mother Claus white, please tell me you will be supplying more to the UK as postage from the States is more than the dye!

I used to buy this hair colour from high street shops but it seems to have disappeared so had to turn to Amazon. It is a good long lasting hair colour which is why I wanted to track it down to use again.

Amazing colour same as on pic but I've dye from my copper changed to this and looks amazing , fast delivery tho . Thank you will deffo buy again .
