Family Guy - Season 14 [DVD]

I got this for £25 during black friday! i am over the moon i still laugh hard at this show even the older ones in which i have seen many time over the years! The dvds are housed in 2 big boxes one containing seasons 1-8 the other 9-14 i think they look great to be honest! i am going to enjoy owning this item a lot! i can't believe i spent £25 on this!! full of so many extras as well! 40 discs be sure to pick up season 15 on DVD for the Simpsons cross over episode as well!

Seen a lot about how it’s actually only seasons 1-12. Which as per IMDB is correct. But during the first few releases in the UK the seasons were different to the states. However this box set is identical to all the individual season releases so for its price it’s great value and much less of a space hog on your shelves. The special features are the same as well. As for the Star Wars specials these were never released as part of the season releases. Always had their own thing. So nothing has changed. Therefore this box set is exactly what it says. Seasons 1-14 of the UK releases which is up to 12 on IMDB. Even the more recent releases have our DVDs two seasons out. Our season 18 is IMDB season 16.

Some reviewers have said that this set only goes up to season 12, that’s not true. It does go to season 14 for the UK. If you brought each season separately from Amazon you would get the same episodes. America just created slightly different VOLUMES instead. I’ve inserted discs and compared episodes to episode listings on individual dvd releases and they match. Checking google etc you get information regarding how America compressed seasons together due to the show being cancelled after season 3 and going into syndication. The fact that at the time I write this review, you can buy season 18, I own it but according to sources online it doesn’t begin airing until the 29th September 2019 and only 7 episodes have been partially confirmed. There are of course certain episodes missing, such as the Star Wars parodies and a few other special releases that got dvd’s of their own.

It's Family Guy, so it's brilliant. My issues are firstly with the packaging. 2 Boxes with 20 DVD's in each and the boxes are very poorly made, with it being hit or miss whether you can close the clasp properly. My second issue is, it says complete seasons but they are missing S6 E1, S8 E20 and S9 E18, These are the Star Wars trilogy which are some of the best episode Family Guy. Very disappointed these are missing!

What can you say about it other than it is seasons 1 to 14 of family guy. I had the original releases of the DVD's before this (it would have cost as much as this did to catch up which was £50 I paid I believe). All of the discs here are identical to the original releases, which means that seasons 1 - 2 have no commentary tracks and possibly no bonus features. Season 3 might have some? I cant remember much, but from Season 4 onwards every season has extras, commentarys, and so on. Fantastic for the price. And the stuff you dont see on TV? Worth it. Although a little jarring at first.

Overall Season 14 has been Excellent. If you want to purchase any Family Guy seasons, it is better to see some episodes that are repeated on the television, as the style of humour may not be to your taste. Also, as there are many in-jokes (that refer to previous episodes), then start from Season One (as I did).

Pre-Ordered last Thursday and the expected delivery was Friday 14th, The DVD arrived today! I am addicted to Family Guy and the episodes included in this season are good however some are better than others. If you're a fan of Family Guy then Season 14 is a must have!

Questa stagione è un prodotto quasi perfetto, si ride, si piange e riesce anche a coinvolgere lo spettatore, la Stagione 12 è una delle opere d'intrattenimento più belle di sempre. I cattivi sono fatti come si deve: Retep è un'idea veramente carina, Michael Pulaski è un cattivo fatto bene, ma secondo me è Sonja il miglior cattivo della stagione, Sonja, doppiata in inglese da Rachel MacFarlane e in italiano da Daniela Calò è un cattivo memorabile se dovessi fare una classifica dei migliori cattivi de "I Griffin", lei meriterebbe come minimo il quarto posto, mi è piaciuta veramente tanto. Mi è piaciuto anche il fatto che abbiano inserito in più puntate il mio personaggio preferito della serie, ovvero Carol Pewterschmidt, se solo Joyce Kinney (che io amo alla follia) avesse avuto più spazio, questa sarebbe stata la mia stagione preferita in assoluto, perché vero che Carol Pewterschmidt è il mio personaggio preferito della serie, tuttavia Joyce Kinney è quello più interessante, un personaggio che ho imparato ad amare moltissimo nel corso degli anni.
