This is the second time we have purchased this zapper in past two years. The first one failed after 8 months, and we thought maybe it was just a fluke since we had used this brand before and got years of service from it. The new one failed after 5 weeks of use!One of the tubes blew the bottom out and the light is no longer useable. Too late to request anything from Amazon or the manufacturer so my only recourse was to rate it a one hoping to help someone else from wasting their money as we have done twice now.

I have this Hoont Zapper hanging in my back deck area. My home is on 2 acres. Takes about 3-4 days and the grid is covered. To clean it, I unplug the unit and use a long slender cleaning tube brush to knock off the dead bugs from the grid. Once the bottom is full I take the unit to another area, empty the tray and use my compressor to blow the bugs off the grid and out of the unit. Works like a charm and doesn't take but a few minutes to clean. My bulb is still working great but someday it will give up the ghost. Now, if I only knew where to get a replacement bulb I would be a happy camper.

Bought two - one came with bulbs unhooked. Had to take it apart to put it together. First time I cleaned that one - bulbs broke - no replacements. Second one is still working but cleaning is a mess.

It takes care of the bugs outside; this cover 1 1/2 achers; the 120vt ultra-bulb is a little hard to find; see my review, location posted.

This one works.I have to empty the bug tray every month or two.Been using it for 2 years.Plus it makes a good light also.

Decent product but could’ve been a lot cheaper

Works very well. Need about another four of these bad boys.

Looks nice but I won’t have a review till I actually use it
