Works great, cool colour too
The media could not be loaded. This device really exceeded my expectations. The body is smooth, cold metal, and the screen is bright and legible. The buttons aren’t actually “buttons” like iPods used to have, rather they are touch capacitive buttons (which can be finicky, overly sensitive, or not sensitive enough). These however work really well, definitely more on the sensitive side than not. If you’re going to put it in your pocket, definitely just turn it off first. It’ll start skipping your music and all kinds of nonsense. It is very light, but still feels solid. I haven’t used the built in speaker beyond just playing a minute or two of a song to test it out. As you’d expect from a 30 something dollars mp3 player, it’s tinny and really isn’t good. However, the bluetooth connection is quick, stable, and easy to set up and disconnect. The audio port also works well, if the headphones aren’t damaged, it won’t skip or have contact issues. In terms of storage, I’m very surprised. I’ve downloaded all the music I wanted to, and it still has about 57 gigs available. The package also included a USB to micro SD converter, which is wonderful seeing as my laptop doesn’t have a micro SD port. Everything downloaded quickly and seamlessly using it. Overall, I’m very pleasantly surprised by this device. It’s great quality, easy to use, light, and useful. As a bonus, the orange colour is really cool. It’s vibrant, and just really makes it pop.

Too few features, largely garbage
So, it works I guess. The problem is using it. Forget about remembering where you were in a track - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Absolutely forget about books or long songs. Searching is in 5 second increments by holding down the forward/back button and it takes a second per 5 seconds to move forward or backward - no speed up the longer you hold. The buttons are ridiculously sensitive (like the wind will blow and the thing will go forward or backward). It doesn't go back to the beginning of the track, it goes to the previous track. You have to click through 5 times to get to where you were in the previous song (resume?) if it even works. Feels sturdy and no issues there yet. Getting songs on it is relatively easy, but the little card feels like a problem is coming the second moisture hits it. The menus are terrible - you have to scroll through a gazillion tracks to get to the one you want. Bluetooth works well. For $30 it serves a purpose but if you can afford more I suggest you go that route.

Not a classic iPod, but still a good choice
The ZOOAOXO M600 has a sturdy casing, fairly intuitive touch-pad controls, and of course, an output jack that should not meet with much stress, and the typical tinny built-in speaker. It delivers a fine sound thru good wired headphones, and its bluetooth signal is strong and very reliable. The device can hold about 128GB, which, for me, adds up to a lot of .mp3s, since I don't use such small-screened devices to watch videos. The supplied micro-SD card reader helps to manage my music files, at least when connected to my computer. My main complaint is the way the device displays information. It doesn't list the artist, just the song title, and tabbing thru the lists of "artists," "albums," "songs," etc can be mind-numbing, esp. w/o a built-in search function. On "shuffle," the device will keep track of the last tune you heard, but unlike with an iPod, you can't tab backwards thru a list of "already played recently." Instead, the "random" feature is operating in both reverse (already played) and forward (next tune in queue). This means you can't tab back to the start of the tune you are now hearing when in "shuffle:" the device just cues up a new song.Storage: I have over 4000 mp3s (+ a couple of audiobooks) on this device and I have used 1/4 of the total available memory. I convert my FLAC files to the smaller-data .mp3s, and that helps. If you need or appreciate a stand-alone music player, this one is a good choice.
