Broke
Forks broke while using, 3 in a row. Spoons sitting in wet foods start to come apart. But visually they look beautiful unfortunately they function wise not a good option.

Pretty, but fragile.
Used for an outdoor dinner party, barbecue style. A few guests had to get several replacements because the forks kept breaking. Good for salad or soft foods, not good for meat.

Perfect Camping Cutlery
I LOVE this cutlery. I bought them to outfit our travel trailer. I always have a dilemma deciding if it's worse to use metal utensils that have to be washed with scarce water which then has to be disposed of or plastic utensils which just add to the landfill. It's hard to be green ;) Then I found these wonderful utensils that can be discarded in a compost bin or burned in the campfire without adding toxic fumes to the environs. They also take up very little room because they nest so tightly. (See photo which shows all 200 utensils in a very small cutlery tray). Win, win, win!! The only slight downside is you have to get used to not having completely slick utensils against your lips. It feels a bit odd at first, but just like disposable chopsticks, you get over it quickly.

Completely worthless for getting food into your mouth
I ordered these as we were trying to be more environmentally responsible and do away with plastic cutlery while camping. (We ditched the plastic straws for paper ones with much better results). This product looked like a good alternative so I ordered a package to use at an upcoming potluck at a campground.Mind you, I wasn't expecting to be able to cut a steak with a wooden knife. I understand that compromises are sometimes necessary in the name of good stewardship of the earth.I did expect some level of functionality, though - this product so failed even that minimal expectation that, were it possible, I would rate them with negative stars so that I could take ratings stars others have given them away.Burgers - nope. Forks won't cut ground beef. Knives are useless even for spreading peanut butter on white bread. Spoons collapse at the sign of moisture, meaning that soup is not a possibility. Incidentally, they wouldn't hold up to mashed potatoes, either.I'm sure there are products out there that are both environmentally responsible and help prevent malnutrition. This isn't it, though. The only use I've found for these is that the handle on the spoon will hold up to "Cheez-Whiz" to help get the dog's pills in. Otherwise, even trying to scoop canned dog food with a spoon results in failure after just one scoop, much to the dogs' dismay.Save your money. These are combustable, although they are a bit pricey for fire starters. Otherwise, I haven't been able to find an appropriate use for them.

They are functional in addition to theme appropriate!
Guests commented on the wood theme for my husband’s birthday. He is in the lumber trade and this was perfect. The knives actually cut through the beef we served. We had wood paper plates, Buffalo plaid table runners on black linens. It was very fun.

Nicely designed, larger than they look in the photos
This set made a great impression for my party. Guests loved the fact that they were biodegradable. A bit on the higher side as far as price is concerned. And in reality, these are really big in size unlike some other wooden disposable ones I have seen and used that are tiny and flimsy. These are larger than your normal plastic disposable cutlery. I don't remember seeing any guest having issues of breakage either. All in all, was quite satisfied. Wish the price was lower so I can switch to them completely instead of the plastic ones normally being used before.

Don’t use plastic!
I like the flatware., but the blades on the forks could be cut deeper.More importantly, I am disappointed. Disappointed that you package the bamboo utensils...in PLASTIC.Aren’t you aware that the plastic packages you use are NOT recyclable? I’m flabbergasted. If you’re truly a GREEN company, you will forego the plastic, and use durable PAPER based packaging when you ship yourproducts, ya know.?Richard C.

knife were all sturdy and none broke
This definitely helped cut down the guilt of disposable tableware ... the spoon, fork, knife were all sturdy and none broke. And they were all attractive, i want embarrassed to set the table with them. the knife functioned nicely as a serrated knife. The spoon is fine, but i was serving soup and this was not a soup spoon (to be fair, no plastic spoon is ever a soup soon anyway). We made do with what we had and that was fine. The big thing for me: the fork. It functioned perfectly as a fork, but i tasted wood/ bamboo with every bite and that was just odd. Had a i been paying attention, i would have gone for something like the biodegradable stuff that appears more "plastic - like"

No box as advertised!
We ordered this product because the main photo advertise a box to hold the items in but it comes in s plastic bag. I'd have paid much less if I know this will not come with a box. This is not accurate
