Watch Box for 20 Espresso Grain Brown Solid Wood XL Large Compartments

I ordered several watch boxes from Amazon and returned them due to their poor quality... until I found this one. This watch box is well made and has plenty of room for watches with large faces. The only issue that I have is that the pillows themselves don't have much give and their length is a little bit on the large size, so if you have a watch with links, as opposed to one with an adjustable band, there is the possibility that it might not be able to latch around the pillow. That happens with my husband's watches because he has a relatively small wrist. However, he just latches only one part of the watch or leaves it unlatched in order for it to sit on the pillow and it's fine. I gave him the box as a Christmas gift and he liked it so much that he took photos of it and showed it to his friends, so it must be good!

So first of all this is a beautiful well constructed watch box. The cushions have the right amount of give for different sized watch bracelets/straps and the dividers provide adequate spacing for a wide range of watch sizes. In a perfect world this would have been my #1 watch box of which others would be compared.Now for the downside from a true watch collector. The top lid uses four magnets instead of a latch. Why is this important? Well some mechanical watches have hairspring that can be highly affected by magnets. In my case as vintage watch collector almost all my watches are highly susceptible. Before realizing the magnets were there I placed my most precious of vintage Grand Seikos in the top compartment. Sadly even with such small but strong magnets three watches had their delicate hairsprings affected. It is repairable by a competent watch maker, but an unwanted and unnecessary expense nonetheless.Tech Swiss, this would have been a 5-Star product all day long if not for the magnets...in a watch box. Lose the magnets and save a majority of mechanical watch collectors the hassle.Note: If you collect modern quartz watches or those with soft iron magnetic shielding for the movement you're likely safe going with this watch box and won't be disappointed.

I was impressed with the overall quality of this watch box. The materials seem high quality and the fit/finish is nice. All of the watch pillows are removable and flexible enough to accommodate different size watches. The hinges allow the box to stay open nicely. There are two magnets in the trim of the box top. This allows the box lid to securely close in place. I was initially concerned about the presence of magnets in a watch box. I did not want it to magnetize my automatic watches. It doesn't appear that the magnetic field from the small magnets extends into the actual top storage area. Therefore, I don't believe the magnets will be strong enough to negatively affect the watches stored in the box. A nice box to display my growing watch collection.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas, he collects watches and didn't have a watch box. I browsed and searched and came across this and saw good reviews. It was a great price the quality is amazing wayyy better than what the reviews said and wayyy better than I even thought. He loves it he feels bad because "it must've cost so much" He saw nothing wrong. MY only problem that really bothered me is the metal piece in the front drawer sticks out and even if I push it back in in won't stay in place. I just super glued it in place no big deal. But if it wasn't for that 5 stars! Makes a great gift!

I purchased this watch box for my husbands ever growing watch collection. He ABSOLUTELY loves it! The wood is a beautiful deep brown and is very well made. It came with inserts for your watch to go around. My husband watches fit perfectly around the inserts, he can even clasp them. My women's watches, however, do not clasp. They still fit around the insert and sit well in the box. He has a few very over sized watches that fit well and do not touch the glass cover. For the price this is a great watch box. I have see many less quality boxes for more money. My only problem is now I think I need a second!

I have normal size watches and big watches and medium watches. None of them would fit around the hard pillow type holders in the box. I defeats the purpose of the box if watches won't go around the holder. If they were soft, they would work.

I did a lot of research and wanted to find a good looking, and sturdy box for my watches. Most of my watches have large cases (Invicta type large) and so far this case is big enough to hold everything in my collection. I also like the wood grain texture and the hinges and construction seem very well put together. Also has a nice masculine look and isn't overbearing when placed next to other items on my bureau. Price was decent as well.

This watch box is beautiful. It's well made and rich looking.There are 20 little gray pillows to wrap your watch around and a nice glass window to display your collection. When the lid is closed, it makes a nice tight seal to keep dust out. This was a gift to myself for my birthday and I am super pleased!

This is well worth the money. Its beautiful wooden box that is a perfect size. I return the Wolf 10 watch box because it was too big. This is small and compact but leaves enough space for all the watches. I would recommend this to any of my watch friends. Picked this up for $100 with Prime.

Looks expensive but it is not. Glass cover is great for solar powered watches.
