OK in principle
Right where to start? Delivery and price are fine but it lacks build quality. The box itself and the lock are of course just a steel enclosure with a basic solid bar to prevent opening. When I first opened the box I noticed a couple of ball-bearings had come free and that one front corner of the frame was bent over prevented the drawer from running freely.Having straightened the side, the drawer was then nearly impossible to move and it wasn't until I eventually released the drawer, using the two small black plastic levers that are tucked into the side runners, did I discover that one of the small shuttles holding the ball-bearings was munched up like a piece of tin foil and all the remaining bearings ran across the floor.I did manage to salvage the shuttle (well 90%, as bits broke off when I bent it back to shape). I took the retaining end-stop off the front of the main runner so that I could re-insert the shuttle and carefully drop the bearings back in as I did. The end-plug was pushed back in. To ease matters, I put crease over every moving part on both sides. So, clearly I was lucky that I could repair it and (so far) is it functioning as it should. The instructions are useless (as to be expected from any products these days) so I strongly recommend the first thing to do is remove the drawer by pushing up on the small black plastic lugs that are evident in the runners when the drawer is fully forward (not easy but be persistent) and check the free movement of the runners. The box can then be constructed as shown on the instructions and the drawer re-inserted and pushed right back; again, be persistent. As far as I can quickly see this is the only such product out there, so do buy it but don't be surprised if it throws you a few curve balls!
