Art in Motion, Revised Edition: Animation Aesthetics

bought this for our daughter she loves anything to do with stop motion / animation new she would love this.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. A very good introduction into animation studies discussing all its forms, practices and ideas. Furniss has a wide knowledge of animation and admits to those areas which she feels she is lacking in and allows for further study. It felt to me that the author has a good understanding of where animation has come from but does not really tread into the dangerous territory of where animation might go.
