This is the single most important baseball purchase you can make. My son, 8, was hitting off of my launch angle tee for the longest, the problem with that is the tip would come off. I purchased another tee (the one that stands on a tripod) but this one was constantly getting knocked over even if you barely touched the tee. Getting backspin on the baseball is important. Therefore, you want to hit the bottom half of the baseball (or atleast cut it in half). This tee allows you to hit the bottom half of the ball, scrape the tee and the tee will not move a muscle because it is weighted. Every so often, you have to twist the stem of the tee to the right in order to tighten it back down (I've never had it fully unloosen during a session and the tee has about 2,500 swings on it. 2,500 swings... no issues. May buy another one after this season. Would strongly recommend the purchase.

It’s been a great tee for my softball player to practice with until the topper ripped. Tried finding a topper replacement with Playaput and can’t fine one for this tee. It’s been two years since we bought this, and really didn’t want to buy a new one. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is can’t get topper replaced.

This is the worst tee I have ever owned. At the first practice, the tee snapped in half. The plastic stem piece came out of the metal tube, and no matter what I tried I could not get it to go back in. Additionally, I keep these tee's in my car when I'm not using them. It recently got down to around 30 degrees F, and the base of the tee shattered. The entire base cracked 10-15 different ways, rendering the tee useless. I returned it within 2 days of receiving it. I've since purchased better tees that I don't have to worry about the stem breaking off or the base shattering

I didn't want to pay top dollar for something similar, so I tried this one... It's great! Nice and hearty/heavy base, doesn't tip over much. I've taken it to dozens of practices now and its still in great shape. I highly recommend!
