Originally thought to buy the 1000 disk version (it being cheaper per disk stored), but after reading reviews on that regarding the weight once filled decided to go for 2 of this smaller version. This was a much better idea, these 2 boxes suit my needs exactly and they themselves are much easier to store and access.I was very pleased to find that once a row of sleeves had been filled that they weren't all tightly packed and there is enough space to easily remove the disks without fearing causing them damage. The sleeves themselves seem to be of a reasonably good quality and the space given to label the disks are definitely adequate.On the negative side of things: in one of my boxes one of the runners that hold the sleeves had detached at one end, I had to add a screw to keep it in place. The space they give you on the index cards for noting down your list of titles is minute and of very little use - anything longer than Jaws and you start having problems - I'd highly recommend creating your own. The locks do not work - in order to remove the key you have to unlock the case.I'm sure the numbering system will be helpful to some people, but I've decided to ignore it and come up with my own system in order to make it easier (and less annoying) to keep series together - this had nothing to do with the fact that I dropped a handful of sleeves...

On. the. downside. Firstly , i. would. prefer. to. store. my. CD. Albums. including. their. plastic. cases . Which. is. difficult. with. this. box. in. terms. of. capacity. And. lastly. , the. soft. plastic. inserts should. have. been. made. of. stronger. plastic . But. overall. it. is. a. very. nice. , and. useful. storage. box .

Purchased this box to store my DVDs in because they were getting out of hand and i am very pleased with this item, holds 420 DVDs without the sleeves, so has saved me a lot of space. It's really well made and sturdy, however be careful when removing the little bits of plastic when you insert the DVDs into the sleeves as you could accidentally rip one which i did so i can only hold 418 lol. I also purchased a few of the Disc guard literature album's to go with this item as i wanted to keep the picture sleeves that came with the original DVDs.The only downside of this box is that the insert cards you get to record the titles of each DVD is really small, each line is tiny and there is no way you can fit the names of each one in the space provided, but what i did was type them out on my PC and print them on my own index cards so it really wasn't a big deal.Anyway i liked this item so much i have ordered another one as i am sure my DVD collection will keep on growing.

Great way to store disks got 3 of them now. Easy to use and keep everything safe

I was hesitant to buy as some reviewers had negative words - however, mine arrived and I’m very pleased. The box itself is sturdy and sleek by design. Handles will easily manage the weight of the DVDs. I opted for the 420 storage and bought 2. The DVD sleeves themselves are ok - maybe a little on the thin side, but as I’m not intending to use daily, they’re fine.The card given to write all the titles on, is very small so I didn’t bother. Spent a little time alphabetically arranging them so the title cards aren’t needed.Overall, a very worthy 5* purchase which I would recommend

When I buy the box I was under the impression that I could store normal CD's within there original CD case and not storing them within a storage pouches. However I can still store them but not the amount stated, I need to re-read the discription to see if I made a mistake.

This is the second time I've ordered these dvd holders ~ we are 'downsizing' and this is just perfect ... very good quality .. yes if you're not careful when you 'tear' the little pieces of plastic film to insert the dvd you could accidently rip one but in 3 boxes of 420 sleeves each I have probably only done that to 2 or 3 ~ I think that's more than acceptable ....Delivery was (both times) excellent .. first time I wasn't in and it was very easy to get it re-delivered and left in a secure place ... both times delivery was the next working dayI would highly recommend them and look forward to buying from them again ~ yes I have that many dvd's / cd's !!
