Bold, smoky, strong coffee beans that delivers…. Every time.
I wouldn’t call myself a coffee connoisseur, but I do know the difference between a good and a bad cup of coffee……….. and without that obligatory morning kick start, the kids would say, “avoid Dad, he’s cranky this morning.” Taylors Hot Lava Java Coffee Beans have been a regular item on my weekly shopping list for more years than I’d like to admit. I’d even argue they count as part of my one of five a day! I’ve occasionally wandered off to try other beans…. some work, most don’t , and my taste buds always drag me back to the Hot Lava Java Beans. They’re described as dark and smoky, rated a 6 on the strength chart that runs from 1 (mellow) to 7 (intense). Taste aside, it’s also nice to support Taylors, a Yorkshire based company established in 1886. Not many brands today can boast that kind of history and longevity. If you’ve never tried Taylors Hot Lava Java Coffee Beans, then shame on you! At the time of review, they were on a Prime Day deal…. £23.94 for a 6 pack of 200g bags (1.2kg). As you’ll see from one of the images… I stocked up. I absolutely recommend these beans. Yes, they’re on the stronger side…. but that morning cup kick starts my day perfectly. 5-Star review.

Rich, dark, strong tasting beans for great coffee!
These are the best coffee beans you can find at the moment. Strong, smokey, rich and chocolaty with a great aftertaste.

One of my favourite tasting coffee beans - not earthy like many others
Interesting one to review, as taste is always subjective. However, I was a member of certain coffee clubs that would send random bags of beans every so often - all of which were more expensive than these. These are perfect for my taste buds; smooth with a very subtle sweetness that's far from overpowering. I find many others far too earthy but not these beans.

Good coffee beans but too expensive
Brilliant coffee but very disappointed that the price keeps on going up and now it’s too expensive for me to buy. Now it’s about £30 for 1.2 kg. Coffee beans in shop is half that price. Such a shame good product but too expensive
