I didn't know these existed. I always used a large nail to plug the hole on the caulk tube between uses, and they still dried out sometimes. These little sealing caps do a much better job with no mess. Would buy again.

They seem like they will do what they're supposed to do. But, I had 1 tear on me, 1 that I should have held on tighter to (it slipped off of the nozzle and flew away, never found it) the others worked just fine.

Simple to use and can use them over and over again.

I have been searching for a solution for this for years - nothing seems to work. Although I can’t yet speak to long-term application - this seems to work better than anything I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried the plastic ribbed inserts, construction wrap tape, the plastic caps you buy for the ends, ‘rounding’ a ball of caulk on the end, and a half dozen other remedies with the same result. After for than a week or so, the caulk is just ruined. These are tight, durable, and doesn’t have anything to get in the way or impede storage. Hopefully long-term will be as good as short term - I’m more optistic than anything else I’ve had.

These are very useful. I have used a couple and they keep the caulk inside usable even after 2/3 weeks. Ihave even been able to reuse one.

After reading some other reviews, I was expecting the worst, but mine arrived & seem to be fine... Well powdered, unroll easily, and are the full length of the caulking tip. Thickness & durability seem adequate, too. No complaints!
