Super easy to use and fast results. Depending where you are regionally you may need to convert from mmol to mgdl. Also when I first installed I thought there was no way the poker was going to work to poke me because it didn’t look like it would come out the home but don’t let that fool you it worked and still works every time. The only tip I would give a buyer is that it doesn’t come with a ton of strips so be sure to buy more of either the glucose or ketone based on your needs. Amazing product for the price.

This glucose meter has exceeded all my expectations. From the first moment, the configuration was very simple, and the instructions are clear and well explained. First, the device did not come with any batteries, which was disappointing right from the start. After purchasing batteries separately, I followed the instructions carefully, but the meter gave me an error code (E01) right away when trying to test ketones. I tried multiple strips from the same batch — all stored properly — and still faced the same issue.When I finally got a reading, it showed 0.1 mmol/L of ketones, which is highly unlikely considering I have been following a strict ketogenic diet for several days with minimal carbs. The result is clearly inaccurate.Then I tried to test glucose, and the device wouldn’t register the strip at all — just kept showing an error and no reading. I used fresh strips and followed all steps correctly. It’s very frustrating when you do everything right and still can’t trust the results.This product gave me zero confidence in its accuracy and reliability. I will be looking for a better-quality meter from a more reputable brand. Definitely not recommended.

Items in a nice size travel case everything else is in great durable packaging. The accuracy is correct and functions very well. It picks up the blood easily and easy to calibrate. The case is not bulky and easy to be put in your average size purse and can fit everything inside.

They worked exactly as they are supposed to..my only issue was I wasted a few (and they are now cheap) while transferring my blood to the strip. There is a delicate balance to getting the blood drop on the edge to have it “siphoned” into the tester. Be warned, read instructions and don’t get blood anywhere but on the end of strip.

Pain in the a$$ to have to convert measurements over.

It comes with everything you need to measure both ketone and blood glucose levels, including test strips, lancets, a puncture device and a practical carrying case. As a point to improve, I would like it to include more spare strips or at least a cheaper option to purchase them separately.

I've been off and on Keto over the years and from my experience, tracking via blood sampling was more accurate than the breath test or the urine strip. The Medilax kit is small and compact and comes with everything you need! It's very easy to use and a great value!
