Sadly, I was unable to get the boot on as my foot would not go through the narrowing for the ankle. In fairness, I have very wide feet with a high instep, so shoes and boots can be difficult. I would think someone with a narrower foot would be able to get these boots on fairly easily. They did seem to be well constructed and are likely to be good on wet or slippery ground, due to the heavy tread on the sole. I am just very disappointed that I could not get them on at all.

These are very heavy duty, but offer a good protection on feet for gardening etc. It slightly comes up big but doesn't make that much of a difference when walking in them.

Very pleased with the fit (size 12) and the comfort, I wore them in the house for awhile and there's been no rain yet to test them out.Considered filling the bath tub and stand inside with the wellingtons on to test them for waterproofness but will wait. They do look waterproof and the rubber is attractively shiny.In all, very happy so far with my purchase, and once they've been properly tested I'll update my review.
