Love this book. The patterns are really good. Has every style apron, from mens, childrens, to hostess.. Really good book, easy to understand, good for beginner and advance dressmaker.

Good book, some great aprons.

This book is amazing and exactly what the title promises! Such charming projects and there's something for everyone. Though I am an accomplished seamstress myself, I still very much appreciate the very simple and comprehensible way in which the patterns and how-to's are presented. The fun, warm pictures provides you with plenty of inspiration for your own project. And Rob Merrett racks up a whole mess of bonus points for including a pattern sheet! LOVE this book and the price was a steal!

A fun book, clear instructions, includes patterns. I haven't sewn for ten thousand years, so this will be a great introduction back into sewing. The simple designs can be easily adapted to suit your or your friends' tastes.

A great book with clear instructions and lots of lovely aprons to make for all ages. I am planning to make some for family members and a BBQ one for my fiancé.

I have only made a couple of aprons in my 66 years, but looking forward to trying all the beautiful patterns in this book.

The author provides concise, clearly written step by step instructions. All requirements and reminders are in eye-catching formats. Full size patterns and templates are supplied. Most of the illustrations focus on specific details of the technics used thus also reaching non-english speakers.Each of the 6 chapters opens with an overview picture of its thematic aprons from the Basics to Kitchen Couture, Domestic Bliss, Kitsch 'n' Cute, Fun & Function and Country Charm complete the lot. The two apron styles, (full with bib and skirt and half with skirt only), are designed for: Woman with 11 full and 18 halves; Man with 2 full; Children 1 half and 3 full. Pattern for a one piece bib with waist ties and a rounded neck strap closing on the opposite shoulder is included. All 35 aprons can be modified and adapted into countless personalyzed creations.I am most impressed with an ingenious reversible "Cocktail Apron" (sheer on brocade); a Chanel inspired half apron with contrast binding and petit cardigan style pockets; Carmine lips appliqués on a black half apron; Bias stripe panels stiched together to create a novel zig zag for a full apron. To be honest, I am impressed by the whole lot.Overall, a very attractive book aimed at all craftophiles eager to add glamour, creativity, colour and fantasy while maintaining the aprons functionnal purpose.

As the title states - the perfect book for apron makers! Love the concise directions and creative options for patterns. Easy to follow and gives great suggestions for sewing useful and attractive aprons. Some different examples to allow for options to suit a variety of recipients. Thank you for helping me make inroads with my fabric stash.
