This is made to mount from either side, top or bottom but not from the rear which is what I need. I drilled it but the back of the case is very thin and requires a lot of effort to beef it up. I haven’t been able to find an equivalent switch with a rear port, so I just have to replace it about once a year.

I needed a simple weatherproof opener for our electric gate, without the expense of an extra remote. Easily hard wired into the gate motor, no power required to the switch. One push to open the gate, and it then closes automatically or press the button again to close the gate. Simple, inexpensive and effective.

This arrived at our door very quickly, as usual from Amazon. The product installed easily and has a very positive click to it. Hopefully it will stand the test of time.
