These construction toys are awesome. You get everything you need to dig up some stuff. Just a little set for the sandbox. All of the toys worked well, so far they're withstanding a lot of wear and tear. A big hit with the kids.

My boys are into dinosaurs and all things heavy equipment. The face of the dinosaur broke off with too much rough play but we glued it back on and it seems to still do it's job

Don’t recommend possible FIRE HAZARD with batteries. Putting this out for our three year old grandson for Christmas and of course it wasn’t working. Opened the battery compartment and the batteries were corroded. What a bummer. Made a run to pick up batteries and installed new batteries, still not working. Let is sit for a bit before going back to it to try to figure it out and the battery compartment was very hot. Removed the batteries and the batteries were very hot. Going to return unfortunately. The quality was good for the price. Super cute with the heavy equipment. Wouldn’t buy again unfortunately. Not worth the risk of a fire. LR44 is the battery size.

This nicely-packaged toy comes with one of several dinosaurs (plus add-ons) to create one of four sets of vehicles: police, military, sanitation (all kids love garbage trucks!), or construction. The unit I ordered for my grandson has attachments for an excavator, dump truck, crane, and cement mixer, but you can also play with the dinosaur alone, which in my order was a triceratops. By the way, if you are not sure what type of dinosaur that is, ask the kids...they will know!Anticipate imaginative play by your children and grandchildren as they enjoy this nicely-crafted toy set. And remember to listen for the dinosaur roar!

We got the T-rex armor set with the military vehicles. The T-rex has sound effects and the mouth lights up when you push a button. The armor consists of a helmet and "backpack" piece that snap nicely in place. Once attached to the dinosaur, you can then connect 2 vehicles/weapons to the "backpack" piece at a time. Options include a large gun, a submarine, a tank, and an aircraft carrier. Each of these vehicles/weapons have a button gimmick where pushing the button causes a "missile" to move back and forth in the barrel--the missile doesn't actually shoot out, so you won't have to worry about losing pieces. However, the planes on the aircraft carrier do come off, so just be wary if you have small children as these small planes are choking hazards. When you attach a vehicle or weapon to the backpack, they don't click into place; instead, they're held in place with some friction and can easily fall out if jostled around. The T-rex has some issues standing up on its own (one of its feet was molded slightly at an angle), so it can topple over easily when you attach all the vehicles and gear. Not a huge issue, but can be a little frustrating for some children. Overall, it's a fun concept for children with a few issues that can make playtime a little frustrating.

When you have kids that love a lot of things (i.e. construction, dinosaur, vehicles), combo toys are the way to go. This Triceratops comes with 4 Construction Toys and has lights and sounds for additional stimulation. You can combine them altogether into a dino vehicle. The best feature is the main one which is the realistic looking triceratops. The construction vehicles can be constructed slightly better. Those do not really look realistic besides the excavator.

This cute toy includes a triceratops that hauls construction equipment. The pieces fit over his back so he can take them to construction sites to work. Twist his tail and his mouth lights up and he calls like a Jurassic Park dinosaur. The batteries are included, so the kids can open this up and play right away.The components of this toy are made with good, sturdy plastic that will not break easily. The toy is nice and small for sitting on the floor and playing, or in the back of the car if you don't mind listening to triceratops for miles, and doesn't take up a lot of room.I don't have any pictures because this toy is for a Toys for Tots donation, and it was aggressively fixed to the box. I could test the toy but really couldn't get the whole thing out without destroying the box. It's a great little toy for kids over 3 who love dinosaurs AND construction vehicles.

For the money I was expecting more. My son picked it for a holiday gift and it didn't last even a couple days. Low quality.
