Reverse Umbrella - Upside Down Large Rain Umbrella as Seen on TV, Fiber Glass Ribs, 8 Anti-Strong Wind Stretcher and Sturdy Aluminum Alloy Central Rob

I ordered this umbrella for my wife. I was skeptical since I couldn't understand why you would want an umbrella to fold the way this does, but after the first stormy day it all made sense.When opened, this umbrella looks just like any other except with a lovely peacock design on the inside. When you fold the umbrella, all of the rain and moisture is pushed AWAY from you, and you are left holding the dry exterior. A normal umbrella dribbles down your arm! This design also makes it easier to get inside a doorway or car and then close the umbrella, as it will not catch on the door frame.We had a very windy storm last week that utterly destroyed another umbrella when a gust of wind inverted it and bent the armature. This umbrella is designed to be inverted, and though it did close on us it did not break.The rounded end is very handy, as you can hook the umbrella on your arm for carrying, or attach grocery bags and whatnot when you need an extra hand. The umbrella is very well made and lightweight. The main pole is plastic where I would have preferred aluminum, but this gives the umbrella some flex and may result in a longer lifespan. Overall I am happy with our purchase, and so is my wife! Hopefully they will make more colors available soon, I feel a little silly as a peacock.

Very sturdy umbrella.I typically use the cheap compact umbrellas, but with just a bit of wind, those crumble, bend, and break. This one is much stronger. The second layer tucks all of the inner workings neatly away, keeping the wires from getting tangled in things nearby. While it is a bit larger than the compact cheap ones, it isn't a whole lot heaver, and still easy to carry. The handle has a nice comfortable rubber grip that doesn't seem to get slipper, and is easy to grasp. When folded up, the rubber tip has enough traction that you can stand it up out of the way without it slipping and falling down. The rubber handle also grasps the wall enough that you don't have to stand it up in a corner. It also stands up on its own without propping against anything if you leave the snap undone. The wires prop it up on their own.This may not fit in a pocket or purse, but I don't imagine it will be destroyed by the wind any time soon, making it a nice durable alternative to the cheaper ones.

Found the Umbrella easy to use with the soft feel handle. The slide has a button to keep it from opening on its own. You also will find an easy to use button strap to keep it together when not in use. Works great at not letting the rain get on your car seats as all the water is inside when you close the umbrella. Colors are bright and clear. And has a nice tip that is rubber that should last when stored.

I love that it is very sturdy and that it can stand on its own (and drip dry ;-)

This umbrella was not as advertised. It was cheap plastic. NOT worth the money.
