Daughter loves coloring books from different time periods. Thought this would be a good book to start.

Ming-Ju Sun is an outstanding artist whose pictures in this coloring book are perfectly detailed and beautiful in every way! This is my 2nd coloring book of Old-Time Children's Fashion and I am having so much fun with it and find it extremely hard to put down. SO very calming and relaxing to color these beautiful children and the fashions of their day not to mention the FUN!!

Nice thick lines. Cute pictures. Best if you use colored pencils or non alcohol markers. Double sided gives lots to color. Using alcohol markers so I'll only be able to color one side. Overall, great book for the price.

Unlike some of the higher end coloring books the pages in this coloring book are not perforated for easy removal and the pages are printed on both sides of each page. This adds to the chance of bleed-through so I recommend using pencils or crayons when coloring in this book. Still the pictures are interesting, diverse and quite interesting and fun to color. Most definitely worth coloring. Nothing's insanely complex but also nothing's childishly simple. This is quite relaxing.

The fashion is beautiful. Their are large spaces when coloring coats but the dresses have patterns that demand your attention to details. I find that you cannot rush through these drawing because of the lace and ruffles and stitching that these patterns have. They are done to perfection to enhance the beauty of each pattern. Coloring pencils and gel pens do a beautiful job in fulfilling the work that the artist put into these designs.

Once again the pictures are nice but if you use markers it bleeds thru to the picture on the reverse side

Wish you did not have to color both sides. Markers show through.

Bought for relative who can no longer get out. She was thrilled as not only does the colouring give her something to do. There is a bit of a history lesson in these books.
