When Spirituality is visceral, it makes you feel and want more out of this connection with Spirit. It’s a beautiful written book with real gems for growth.

This reader really enjoyed Mark’s style of delivering his insight. Self-assured but yet a bit self-deprecating. Obviously “this author” has spent much time on the topics touched on throughout the many experiences he related in the book.Having spent my early days on this planet being force fed a steady diet of the dogma from an orthodox religion. I spent some time rebelling against the force feeding, until I realized I was hugely involved in how those experiences would shape my me. As is pointed out many times in the “The Layman’s Guide “one’s growth comes from within one’s self not from outside of it.Enjoy the RideMT

I really enjoyed this refreshing take on self-discovery. While Olsen brings in the amazing realization that one is essentially an atom of God, he shows how simple self study can produce exhilarating moments of enlightenment. A big theme of this book is the acceptance of all to this field of study; It matters not what race, sex, affiliation or affliction one has. Olsen suggests that the door opens to all who look within with sincerity.He tells his dreams, stories and magical encounters with comments on how he digested them and interpreted them. Inspiring!

I found Mark Olsen’s Book very informative, and thought provoking, guiding me towards my own spiritual journey. I enjoyed the format in which he describes his many experiences and dreams with sincerity and honesty. The last paragraph of this book brings you full circle, giving you the knowledge and confidence to pursue your higher inner self for God Realization.

This was an exceptional read. It contains easy to understand, well thought out examples of how the spiritual experiences of daily life guide our journey to self and god realization.

This book covers deep topics in a very easy and fun to read format...highly recommended to anyone who’s open to continued spiritual exploration and growth

I found this book to be personally inspiring, informative and helpful for me in my journey to comprehend my own inner self relating to my dreams and spiritualism. Mark's personal interpretations were a window into a very evolved and gentle soul. He helped me to examine the perplexities of my own personal spirituality relating to past experiences and my feelings growing up without a path to explore a relationship with God.

Mark K. Olsen is a brilliant writer. Using his superb grammar, references, wit, and visual effects, he brought me on a journey that portrayed a man’s life using real life experiences, dreams, mystical experiences, and coincidental experiences on his road to deeper contact with the spirit of God. He brings you into his home as a child, and into the outdoors reflecting on his love for nature.The Author brings you on his journey to find self-realization and going within yourself.The Author explains that Spiritual adulthood includes taking responsibility for one’s own actions. This stood out to me: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”This was not an EASY story to write or to read, but the Author did an exceptional job of taking you into his life and another life that, when you reach it, you will have a Signature Event - a love like no other.The Author emphasized that BY practicing sincere trial and error, reading daily devotions, and prayers (for example), along with using self direction, you will eventually recognize your Higher Self’s voice.I believe Mark K. Olsen has a great writer’s future ahead.
