Its a simple device to be sure but it can cause problems if made cheaply and this one is not. It works just as advertised and it does so at a very reasonable price. I am using it to run a second set of speaker wires from my integrated amp, which does not have a sun out, to both right and left sun woofers that do not have wire terminals, only RCA jacks. It makes a big difference having subs. I recommend these for anyone with the same needs as I had.

I bought similar stuff for $.69 each.They only come in a 4 pack, so if you need only 1 you're out of luck.It worked fine and when you need it, you need it.I have 3 spares in a drawer I'll never use.

Small connections that convert RCA male connections to standard sound wire. Very easy to use, wired my surround sound secondary replacement speakers in 20 minutes. Installed the speakers, ran new wire with hold downs. Stripped the wire and inserted it into the speaker clips and the adapter clips and plugged into the back of the surround sound woofer and tested. Works great!

Worked great with 16 gauge speaker wire. Much better than cutting up a standard patch cable as the conductors are tiny and not suitable for speaker level transmission.These also would work well if you're dealing with a powered subwoofer, and only a 2 conductor speaker wire was run from the receiver to the sub. If you're lucky, you won't get hum.

The two that worked worked great, but the other two had broken buttons that would not push down. Also the holes are too close together and lead to stray wires touching very easily. Shorted out my system and destroyed my radio

After finishing a 7.2 sound system installation, everything worked perfectly fine except for the subwoofers on which we used these connectors. We waisted a considerable amount of time to find out that the issue was caused by the clamps that has not enough strength to keep the 14ga cable we used in place. Bought other connectors that holds the wire with a screw instead of a push clamp and the issue was solved.

Over all, these RCA Female Speaker Wire connectors, along with the Male connectors I had previously ordered, handled the job I had in mind. Instead of twisting wires together to add more length, I used these instead & I'm very pleased on how it all turned out. Better this way instead of twisting & taping wires together.

Units appear cheap but are well built. And work very well as described.
