Life Affirming product.
Well, I never thought I would be leaving a review for something like this, but here I am! As a man of 60, who is very active and loves to hike and walk long miles everyday, long drives, etc. these have really been incredibly helpful and life affirming. Okay, this will sound strange: I may not end up “using” them every time I am on a hike, but they give me that extra confidence and let me not be embarrassed if I am out with a group of friends or on a steep run and I can concentrate on safety and my surroundings. Our bodies are machines and sometimes we just need a little extra help as things wear out a bit. I have tried various other brands and forms of these prior and have found these to be perfect. Comfortable, absorbent and not too bulky and sticks well to undergarment. Nicely designed for men, appreciated! Not noticeable at all under my workout gear. Looks great under a nice pair of jeans, just a little oomph ;) So there you go! Embrace being human guys, no shame and enjoy getting out in this world.

Great thinner, more comfortable pads for men months after surgery.
These are ideal for men perhaps several months after surgery, when your leakage is low, as they are less bulky and obviously absorb less liguid than TENA's heavier grade pads, which were very useful right after surgery, when you might have leaked a cup of urine a day. ***Practicing Kegels before surgery, then doing you Kegels often each day, starting a week or so after the surgery, REALLY helps with a quicker recovery!! When you heal and recover to where you only have one to a few unexpected small "spurts" a day, then this thinner TENA pad could be ideal for you. TENA's in general are very absorbent compared to other brands I've tried, comparing same thickness, and they hide any odor of urine well for hours. The have a better "wicking' material, that's why. The slightly higher price for them, compared to the cheaper pads sold at "big box" stores is well worth the difference, as a thinner TENA is a lot more comfortable than a less tailored, less aborbent, and bulkier cheaper brand. The fit is much better for me than, say, *Depends, and that brand difference totally depends on just how a particular pad conforms to your body/underwear. Some folks prefer the *Depends fit. Price matters more for some folks, too. Your mileage may vary. Try different brands and see. I bought some pads from different brands, that happened to be donated to a Goodwill store, to compare them, and not waste much money doing so. By the time 6-12 months pass after surgery, most men "should" have little need of a pad. Even with the same surgeon, the time until you are '"dry" every day will vary by months for their patients. Shop around for surgeons, overall, some surgeons just have better technique than others. Get an "A" surgeon, and not a 'C" grade surgeon! Some days I'm "dry" and can wear the dry pad for 2-3 days before it gets wet. That's when a pad's adhesive is really tested! I'm also almost a year past surgery, so I hope to not "need" any pads in the future, yet I'll still have one on, "just in case" if I'm in public, and can't get to a bathroom for hours-as when your more "full" bladder is most likely to sneak out a "spurt". Solution-don't drink a lot of fluids for 2 hours before an event, and pee just when you get to an event, even when you don't feel like you need to! I'm 5'10' and 220 lbs, and the pad is too wide at the top and rubs on me, so I cut it roughly in half, horizontally and use the smaller, narrower bottom half only, and that is a better fit and feel for me through the day-the rubbing on the side and top used to drive me crazy when I walked. Maybe the whole pad is the right size/ fit for you. I learned that talking to other men after surgery, and looking on forums, that their daily urine leakage lessened as their body learned to "hold it in" especially while laughing, or suddenly standing up. (Go Kegels!) Fortunately , their need for pad size and thickness definitely changed to "smaller and thinner" with time, as things improved. Cons: The adhesive strip is at best mediocre. They've got to up their game on making this "stickier." One star off.

Reliable Protection That’s Comfortable and Discreet
I’ve been using these TENA Men Protective Guards for a while now, and they’ve been very dependable. The absorbency is solid, even for longer days, and they stay in place without bunching or shifting. They’re comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing them and discreet under regular clothing. I also appreciate that they don’t feel bulky or noisy. Overall, they provide peace of mind and do exactly what they’re designed to do.

Best pad I have found!
I have tried many diiferent pads over the years after my prostatectomy in early 2021 from max to min capacity. I have found these these Tena to be the best Fit, easy to to use, and have the best hold capacity for my needs. After installation of a urethral sling in early 2024 my incontinence needs changed from 4-5 max absorbency pads/day to 1-3 medium absorbency pads/day. The quality of the Tena pads is great and can last all day with good hold in my boxer briefs. Highly recommended!

You gotta keep the pad in place!
I initially found it difficult to keep the pad in place and thought to throw the whole package away. But after some thought I came up with what sounds like a funny idea, but it works. I use two paper clips to clip the top of the pad to the waist band of my jokey shorts. That seems to hold in place all day long, even with frequent pee breaks. If that seems like too much work, I'd suggest you just use Depends, which I sometimes still do, like if I'm going somewhere with friends and do not want to be embarrassed for sure. And my method is way cheaper for every day use. I"m 80 and hate incontinence, but it ain't going away!

THESE ARE PERFECT PLEASE GIVE THEM A TRY!!
Ok for someone who never writes reviews I felt like I needed to this time. Long story short I had prostate cancer in 2012 and have had bladder issues after radiation ever since. Not bad but needed a fix as anyone that has an issue will tell you. The first thing I tried was depends underwear. They worked but overkill , expensive, and for me and was a little embarrassing around my girlfriend. I then tried depends pads and they worked but they were bulky and agin maybe overkill and they leaked out the sides. Then switched to depends thin pads, easy to pack on trips but they leaked out the sides and I felt like I needed just a little more maybe somewhere in the middle between the light and heavier pads but with some of leak protection on the sides. Depends had no options here. Thats when I discovered these. Perfect pad size, small flaps on the side so there is no side leakage and they keep me dry all day. I would give these for my situation 5 stars! They are the perfect all around protection without going overboard and they are also easy to pack on trips. Will continue with these absolutely! You can carry extra ones on those days if needed in case of accidents.

Comfort.
I originally bought Depends Guards but they were really abrasive and uncomfortable so I threw them in the garbage and figured I would try these. These are very comfortable to wear all day.

The Tena Male Guards are a reliable choice for light incontinence protection. They are comfortable to wear and provide good absorbency throughout the day. The adhesive backing keeps them securely in place, and they’re discreet enough that you can wear them without worrying about bulkiness. I appreciate that the pack is eco-friendly, though it would be great if there were even more sustainable packaging options. Overall, they do the job well and offer good value for the quantity provided. A solid choice for those who need daily protection.
