I have 4 of these and just bought number 5. I purchased my last one used and have had no problems so I’m going used again. These cameras and the Logitech doorbell are a perfect fit with the Apple ecosystem. They are a major upgrade over the Arlo cameras we had previously. I think the bad reviews come from users with weak WiFi. Your $99 router won’t cut it, especially if you are placing cameras outside. I had mixed results with my previous router, which I finally had to admit was past its prime and needed replacement. Since upgrading the router (Orbi mesh), the cameras and doorbell have been flawless. If you’re a committed Apple user (especially if you have a higher tier iCloud account for storage), have your WiFi in order, and don’t mind running some extension cords for power, these are the cameras to get.

Drops out, does not record. Nice quality- when it works.. Which is usually only a few days after you reset it.. again and again and again. Temperature up? Doesn't work. Temperature down? Doesn't work. I like the product build quality, and view when it works. Poor value. Almost no support.

Pro: good video. Ease of installation and use. Able to do what I wanted it for. Video is clear and so is sound. Works extremely well with HomeKit for Apple. Price used was worth the purchase. Con: when first installed constantly going offline. Thought location. Purchased to use while on vacation. During time on vacay cameras were always offline. Now back in town work everyday. Little to now issues. Overall: still waiting. Will be installing outside under eaves of roof. Waiting on electrical in order to install. Jury to decide once outside.

Camera is good quality. Connected easily to my HomeKit network. Picture is perfect

After merely 8 months, this so-called "high-end" camera ceased to function entirely. **Lack of Durability:** For a device marketed for home security, its lifespan was shockingly short, undermining any trust one might have in its capabilities. **Customer Service Nightmare:** Logitech's helpdesk acknowledged the camera was beyond repair, yet they astonishingly declined to replace it. Their customer service didn't just disappoint; it was outright infuriating. **Overpriced and Underwhelming:** The camera's build quality didn't meet expectations, especially for its price tag. Smart home integration was a nice touch, but it's meaningless when the product fails prematurely. **Conclusion:** Steer clear of the Logitech Circle View Camera. It's not just a waste of money; it's an exercise in frustration. If you're after reliable home security, look elsewhere - this camera isn't it.

Couldn't get the camera to connect and then I noticed the scan code on the instruction card didn't match the code on the bottom of the camera base. Probably due to this being a refurb. Once I used the code on the camera base everything was fine. Connected up and it's a great camera.

I bought 2 of these cameras to place outside at a rental property. I have several other EVE indoor cameras and doorbells that I was satisfied with them so I thought these would be a good addition. I never got around to installing them. Life was busy and I had to add some electrical outlets in order to get them to work and just never got around to it. I opened one of the boxes and everything looked in order so I wasn't concerned. Well, after about a year every single Logitech camera and doorbell I own stopped working. No matter what I do I cannot get them to work again. I've tried everything. Nothing works. It can't be coincidence that around the same time they all stopped working. Well, I thought I would just install these two outdoor cameras to replace two of my indoor cameras. When I opened both boxes today I then realized that there were missing items. One of them had no paperwork and the other one was missing the wall USB adapter to power the unit. It looks like I was sent items that had been returned. Well after about an hour of trying to get these two cameras to connect to either their app or the Apple HomeKit app, I gave up. Neither of them will connect. It almost gets through the entire process and then comes up with an error. So now I have 8 Logitech cameras (4 EVE Indoor, 2 Doorbell cameras, and 2 EVE Outdoor), and Zero of them work. This brand seems to have quality issues. I would avoid their products at all costs.

This is a great camera that is easy to setup and use but it only works on 2.4 WiFi and it constantly needs to be reset. I have a great WiFi connection but something with the camera makes it so it needs to be manually unplugged and plugged back in for it to work. Don’t even think about using this for security because right when you need it to work it will lose connection. 😢 I would not recommend.
