Good hand level / lock level as we use to call them. Just remember, like any surveying instrument, you need to adjust it to confirm accuracy before you use it. It's called Pegging a Level. Look it up. Lost art in todays day of Total Station..

I use this for land assessment. I first used one 50 years ago and it's value, to me, remains.

Used it for septic installation grades Works great for rough grades . Mount it on top of a 1” pvc pipe at eye height and just as good as a tripod transit Gets grades within 2”

Too dim for ordinary use

Good price for a necessary tool!

Bad design, the horizontal line is only on the side with the bubble. The other, clear viewing side, does not have a line and therefore makes it impossible to compare one elevation to another. Do not buy this hand level.
