the system of reading and writing in their language etc., besides being a lot of fun.....
it's important to realize that one has to realize that a glyph could mean/stand for a number of things, and you'd be all day trying to get the correct message across using this system.

The Perfect Tool
The Egyptian hieroglyphic stencil is extremely well made and arrived in the nick of time so that I could create the graphics I needed to craft secret coded messages as additions to my latest children's mystery novel. I think kids would find this a welcome addition to their summer fun toolbox.

Perfect
I have ordered like 10 of these for think so far and will eventually get all of them. I teach a book workshop all the time and these metal stencils are great! IF you use a fine tip marker don’t move the stencil it will smear. I use a soft lead pencil first then go over it with pen and then eraseLove them!

Very small
I am a tattoo artist and these stencils are way too small to put a pin in there which makes it obsolete for what I needed

good stencil
First the basics:-This stencil is made of quality metal (steel?) and the shapes are very cleanly machine cut.-It features a collection of basic Egyptian hieroglyphs. The hieroglyphs are generally accurate.-I used brush paint, sharpie, spray paint, pen and pencil on it.Results:Over all, I got the best results using with pen or a pencil. Spray paint worked pretty good too, but only if you went light on the paint. Too much spraying and it will smear. Brush paint, on the other hand, was more difficult. Unless the stencil is pressed absolutely flat, brush paint seeped under the stencil and wrecked the design. When I get a little more comfortable with my etching tools, I may see how this stencil works with them. Conclusion:Overall, this is a very well made stencil and I'm glad to have it in my collection of stencils. The hieroglyph designs are very close to actual REAL hieroglyphs, which means these look great when applied to an Egyptian themed project.Highly recommended.

Great for any ancient Egypt fan.
I got these as a gift for my wife, she absolutely loves them. Great way to practice or just add hieroglyphics to your projects.
