These pens are so easy to use with a variety of ages!, even the youngest children use them with such joy! The colors are so vibrant and if capped WELL! yes something the children take great care in capping them carefully so that they will last a long time. The paint dries quickly and stays very vibrant , does not lighten as it dries as some we have tried before in class. Can be used on many materials, please give it a some time, as in several minutes to dry before touching!

These are amazing! I've been rock painting for a little over a year, and once I started getting hooked and wanted to get more intricate with lettering and details, I decided it was time to upgrade from the Sharpie-and-Mod-Podge game to expensive paint pens. I started with a set from Hobby Lobby that turned out to be pretty disappointing-- difficult to use on anything but a perfectly smooth surface, and the colors faded considerably as they dried . A few people in my Facebook painting group were raving about Poscas, so I tried those, but found them to be troublesome, leaky, and quick to dry out. I was about to give up when an ad for ARTIQ popped up somewhere in one of my Big Brother feeds :) so I decided to try one more brand. I'm so glad it was these pens because if it had been another crap brand, I probably would have quit rock painting altogether (LOL not really, can anyone quit rock painting once they've started??) But seriously, I would not enjoy it nearly as much as I do with the Artiq pens. Easy to use, beautiful colors, and so far they seem to have pretty good longevity, I've had my first set (medium tips) for a couple of months and they're still working perfectly. I recently bought a set of the fine-tips and love those too, especially for lettering on really small rocks. More than happy to support such a great product and great company!

I'm leaving this review so that Myrna can have herself a shot of tequila, although I don't approve of Steve, the head of marketing, randomly accosting old ladies for hugs and kisses. (If you've gotten an email from the company asking you to leave a review, you'll know what I'm talking about.)That being said, while as lazy consumer I generally don't write reviews, since I was amused by the email Artiqo sent, I'm going to write one. Get excited.These pens are great for rock painting. My daughter and I first used them at our local library's Kindness Rock painting event, and we so enjoyed decorating the rocks with them, and because mama needs a few minutes of quiet, I bought our own pack (along with some rocks from Amazon. Never in my life thought I'd be reduced to buying smooth rocks from Amazon, but hey, anything to occupy the spawn for 10 minutes).The work well for their intended use--decorating rocks with minimal fuss or mess--and I would imagine they'd work well decorating other non-porous (and maybe even porous) surfaces. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the metallic ones are appropriately metallic-y (with enough sparkle to bring joy to my sparkle-obsessed daughter).You can't get the paint off your hands with soap and water, but rubbing alcohol works beautifully for doing so. So keep some handy, or you'll also end up with not only decorated rocks, but decorated hands.So, yeah. If you've got the extra cash to drop on some paint pens, they're worth the money. But better buy them now, before the team's "awful impulse control" leads Myrna to rehab and Steve to some time in the pokey.

Honestly great paint markers, they are vibrant, easier to get detail than traditional paint, and go on easy! I knocked a star off bc they don’t do great on ceramics, they go on easily but scratch off easily. I would recommend getting some kind of clear ceramic friendly lacquer to go over it if you are planning on using these for this but I would recommend!

We used the paint pens for creating wooden light up keepsake ornaments for our family far and wide as mementos for this lean year, tokens to let them know we hold them dear and wish them Yuletide cheer until we can send more gifts in the coming year.The pens should be well shaken and then dotted onto a blank, sheet of paper on a clipboard - so no running or seep to any surface.Then as painting continues dot/blot once in awhile to assure good flow. BE AWARE that if you are blotting you should do that on the separate sheet as you won't want any bloppy flow on the object you're painting.When using white on top of other colors, know that you will need to wait until the other color dries, which doesn't really take too long, and then you will need to blot off any bleed through on the pen. For example, I dotted snowflakes onto the blue and some blue seeped to the white. I just blotted that off and continued.Completely worth the cost for having long lasting, bright paint colors for a wide variety of surfaces (wood, rock, etc.) but by the feel of them, I wouldn't use them for canvas or glass. I am however going to try them on 'raw' ceramic figurines.Lastly, we did buy the Krylon-like glaze spray. We didn't use it on the ornaments, A) because it was indoors, so not well ventilated, and B) because we were wary of the little light fixtures. That said, we will use it on the ceramic figurines to give them that 'kiln shine'.TOTALLY recommend these! <3
