I use quite a bit of UV resin because I do mixed media art. Like all resins successful outcomes requires experience with the resin. If you color it before you pour it you can see the air bubbles etc. Of course you have to "cook" it. Tried to cook it under large UV lights since I was trying to deep pour a piece which doesn't work. Time consuming because you dry it in layers. I cook it for 2-3minutes remove it from my mold turn it over to cook the other side....talking about small flowers trees etc. Did a large dragon piece-cooked it knowing I would not be successful-then poured off the underlying collection of resin which I used on other molds. Left a shell behind. Then I cooked the shell. The dragon had a few spots of breakage-repaired those spots. Quite successful. Nice lightweight dragon which can be mounted on canvas. When you first use it, uncolored, I found a fair amount of defects not filling to the edge of the mold. If you undercook (left soft and pliable) you can remove it from mold trim it up...finish cooking it. Next test-leave it undercooked and hand make a piece. Interesting resin. Messy. Good product.

I have purchased this UV resin more than once! dries very quickly. UV lamp needed to cure only 60secs. easy to clean with baby wipes or alcohol. crystal clear results

I make resin jewelry a LOT and sell it. I've used many different types of resin, both UV and regular (wait-til-it-sets resin). This new formula is fantastic! Very low, almost none, smell. I have birds in my house, so I have to be very careful about how and where I use my resin. This is the only one that I have been able to use indoors. Although, to be cautious, I do keep my birds in a separate room, and open the windows for ventilation. In all caution, you should always wear gloves and mask when working with any resin (and I don't mean a paper mask, it should be a mask rated for gaseous material).The resin dries well under the UV, yet I can use in under normal household lights without it curing until I add the UV light (just don't use it near a window where the sunlight might indirectly affect it). It's thick enough that you can easily use it for doming, and spreads well with a little push of your tool. I've never had an issue with air bubbles in this resin.I hesitate on giving this resin such a good review, because I buy it a lot, and often. I don't want it to sell out on me!

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:The new bottles I've used have been performing perfectly. They DO NOT have any kind of smoke or odor problems like the original product I used. Customer service was very helpful and sent me a replacement. We determined that it must have been a bad batch, as it was very abnormal. I'm posting a video to show that the product works great when exposed to UV light.I've purchased their products a few times and highly recommend. Their formula creates beautiful resin products.Original review:So, the end result is great. But just a heads up that this product creates a visible smoke during the first 30 seconds of curing. And it's way worse if it's deeper/thicker resin use. I, unfortunately, look at my project when I first place the UV lamp to make sure it's in the right spot and had the smoke go straight into my face several times. Eventually I learned to hold my breath & move my head during the first part of curing.BUT, with that said. The product is great with minimal bubbles. End result is a nice resin.Just make sure you don't breath in the smoke and you should be all set.Would be 5 stars if it didn't smoke.

Update: JDiction customer service reached out to me. They were very nice and helpful. They offered to replace the resin stating it could’ve been a bad batch. It could’ve also just been me and I might be more sensitive to this product. Still a great product and I will continue to buy from them.The chemical smell from the “new formula” is unbearable and makes it very hard to work with even in a well ventilated room. I hardly noticed an odor from the original formula. I usually wear gloves but I had to wear a mask this time because my throat started to burn and I began to get light headed. I will probably have to start wearing goggles too because my eyes were starting to burn. Not sure if this is normal but with all the different brands of UV resin I’ve worked with this has never happened before. The odor seems a little excessive for a crafting resin.

I’ve purchased this a couple of times. I love this stuff! It’s so easy to work with and cures quickly. I use it to make jewelry, mainly breastmilk jewelry.

We have had no issues with this resin, it is low odor and cures rock solid and crystal clear. It's not cheap, but for what it is, it's awesome.

Perfect for giving a glossy finish to my handmade jewelry. Be sure to wear a proper mask because the fumes can be dangerous.
