I really like these shutters. They are exactly what I wanted and are pretty nice. Something simple and easy to install. I originally ordered the Clay color and had to send them back because the color was WAY OFF from what the picture showed. I then ordered the Tuxedo Grey, which is more what I was looking for. Upon closer look, at least at the time I ordered, the Clay and Tuxedo Grey pictures looked exactly the same. But upon arrival, they are NOT the same, because the Clay ended up being a much lighter brown/green/grey-ish color. Yuck. So just be careful not to make the same mistake! Now that I got the right color, I really do like them plenty and am happy with them!

Keep flat and out of the sun before installing because they will warp with the heat. After installing on the siding, they are fine. One of my shutters came with a chip out of the bottom, but there wasn’t any broken piece in the box. Had to patch it with a piece of gorilla tape and put it way up in a place where it wouldn’t be seen.

They provide both metal screws and PVC fastener push rivets. Used the PVC Fasteners as recommended, drilling through my steel siding. Really like the fit and finish of the shutter, even better than the old wooden shutters being replaced. Great product and great price.

I had some old vinyl shutters on my 1908 farmhouse, some where disinigrating, could push finger right through. Decided to go darker color and the musket brown I think looks great, posted some before and after pictures. Install was easy, comes with color matched screws and push in plastic, I used the screws. Took about 5 minutes per shutter to install, drilled small hole where I wanted screw to go in, placed in spot, screwed down the screws. See the before and after.

I have vinyl siding. I found out that the plastic "nails" do work relatively well, but about 8-10% of them did not go in but bent, and then it became very tricky to install it, because I didn't want to drill another hole elsewhere.I used the regular wood screws they provide for the places where it would go into the window frame. They are not very good. They painted the heads black, and the paint prevents the Phillips screwdriver from biting well, it starts skipping, rounding the head cross into a circle, and it goes downhill. In fact, the Phillips head is a horrible invention that should be banned. We should only use square or hexagonal star screws, not Philips.

Only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the mounting pegs and screws are too short and therefore you will have to work out your own mounting system.

The vinyl shudders look great on the house and the quality of the vinyl seems very good like they should last for many years.

Shutter fasteners were not in the box had to order separate at a higher price$20.00. Would have returned but installer was here.

This is exactly what we were looking for. We are not using them for outside but inside to use as linen closet doors.Thank you so much!
