A simple gadget that fits my grivel axe just fine and will hopefully protect me and my possessions from getting damaged by sharp edges. The string means the length is adjustable.

Fits the head of my ice-axe securely and protects me and others from harm. The name is misleading as it is not designed to protect the axe.

Does what it is supposed to and covers the pick end of a Black Diamond ice axe. Good value for money and dispatched, and delivered promptly.

This fits my DMM Raptor fine and seems that it would fit most, if not all, ice axes. It provides excellent protection.
