Bought this to give this to one of my grandsons who likes to draw dinosaurs. First thou I will use them to bone up on drawing these animals myself.These really are only guides to assist in drawing. you should not feel that you have to follow each step. As many of the animals are in so many different positions, the book is a great assist in developing techniques in working with persective.

I bought this for my nephew who just turned 6 and he is loving this book now that he can draw dinosaurs. It gives his step by step instructions as well as a little fact about that specific dinosaur.

My kids loved these books when they were kids, but the grands didn’t not seem to interested yet!

My son likes to draw, he definitely likes the book specifically because he loves dinosaurs.

As is usual for Lee J.Ames Step-by-Step books, this is clear, simple and done wellI really enjoyed it and working through it - there is one caveat though.The drawings are a bit outdated with reference to modern thinking about dinosaurs being feathered (it has them as scaled)Still well worth it

I bought this book so I could spend quality time with my budding artist son (5 years old). After the first couple pages I found myself completely absorbed drawing dinosaur after dinosaur and soon forgetting about my son. The drawings lean towards the slightly realistic side (very slightly) and are not cartoonish. The external morphologies are not overly exaggerated and the step by step process teaches you appropriate spacing for the various appendages. Highly recommend to wanna-be artists who want to prove they can draw better than a 5 year old.Pros: I'm turning into oneCons: Forgetting son

恐竜の絵が描きたくて、この本を購入しました。内容は悪くないのですが、本の1つの角がグチャグチャになっていました。郵送の封筒は綺麗なので、梱包するときに本を傷めたようです。本を雑に扱う会社には好感は持てません。残念。

Tja, ich hatte etwas mehr erwartet. Besserer Motive und eine interessantere Aufarbeitung. In meiner kleinen Schule kann ich diese Bücher nicht anwenden. Es interessiert Kinder und Jugendliche doch nicht nach Konstruktionen zu zeichen. Wir bleiben bei unserer Aussenlinie Methode (siehe "Lieblingszeichnungen" Haupt Verlag). Es war ein Versuch wert. Schade.

Purchased for Christmas gift with the How to draw 50 Animals and a sketching set!! My nephew loved this. Highly recommend!!
