It was good I loved that no time to boil very quick to get a brew although it didn't last long it has broken down

Works well bought used but as new, came in original box with instructions which i haven't needed as I've been using a similar one to this make for quite some time but it needed replacing. It is a continuous flow of water which does not stop once cup is full so please be mindful of not overfilling cups, unit isn't too loud and the water reaches almost boiling temperature. It has a handle inside the water tank but i find it safer to fill these via a jug therefore eliminating the possibility of not correctly refitting the tank which reduces the chance of it leaking. I used to use 250ml of white vinegar once a month to clean the system through and wrap a piece of vinegar soaked cloth around the nozzle for 10 minutes then completely drain the system down to min unplug after cooled completely and empty the water out via tank and the drain hole behind the tank holding the unit upside down over the sink then clean the unit with mild detergent and then clean water, dry completely then fill the tank and drain out to min to make sure all the vinegar was out which cleaned out any limescale build up. wiped the outside of the unit daily with a damp cloth to remove any water splash maerks and dried with kitchen towel this is not what the instructions say but i did try the method they use and found it took forever to rinse the detergent from the machine itself plus i don't fancy accidentally drinking detergent if it's not all out so found the vinegar a safer option personally. The power switch is located on the right base on the unit and glows red when on, to dispense press the top button and it will turn green when in use, if for any reason the water doesn't seem hot enough there is a reset button on the unit behind the tank which resets the thermostat, most likely reason for it needing to be reset is letting the unit go below the min fill line or if the unit has been over used in one session too many times but never had to use a reset button on any unit I've had previously as the usage instructions are pretty straight forward but accidents can happen

Dihl hot water dispenser is brilliant,just what I wanted. .My kettle had broken, and my family did not live at home now, I found I was boiling more water than I needed. .Hot water boiler is brilliant. .has 2.5 litre water holding tank, press button on top to stop water being dispensed, simple. ..I would recommend that you use a jug or similar to fill the tank, as when I removed mine and replaced the full tank, as it clicked into place, the stopper in the bottom of the tank leaked water everywhere. ...filling with a jug stops it from leaking. ..I have had no leaks since. .I prefer using a jug to fill it too...The water is lovely and hot. .use it for tea. .making smash..gravy etc..There is a power on/off button on the left hand side. ...Very pleased with my purchase. .

This item is sold under different names, have had another for a few months and find it very useful just fill up in morning and have tea or coffee without waiting for kettle to boil, is slightly less hot than kettle, but not a problem if drinking straightaway, is hot enough to brew tea.Have bought cream one for house and the first (red) I am taking to static caravan for season as cream fits better with home kitchen colours.

Bought Dihl instant hot water dispenser in July 2016. At first I was delighted with it. I'd previously had a Breville one cup for 5 years which had been excellent however the replacement cost was twice the price of this item.I liked being able to fill as much or as little hot water as I wished but sometimes forgot to switch it off when filling a cup and it would overflow. After 3 months I noticed the unit would overheat after approx 3 cups but I followed the instructions and it would reset very quickly. Then one day it stopped working without warning. The switch appeared to be faulty.I eventually got a replacement in December which worked fine but very quickly it started spitting and splashing while filling a cup. Then it started cutting out sometimes after only one cup. Also when I removed the tank to refill, water would pour back up from the reservoir through the valve.I have now had a refund.Moral; you get what you pay for!!

I have always wanted one of these but never got round to it, didn't want to spend a fortune so got one of these, its the best thing I have ever done. its really good, on the down side there is only one thing to change if I could and that is the water doesn't come out very quick but am not bothered about that everything else is fine.

So I thought I would buy this for my mother as she loves to use hot water when in the kitchen. It was like a relationship to begin with, she absolutely loved it for the first 2/3 weeks and then cracks started to form. The item broke and within a month. I contacted the seller and to be fair and honest they were helpful and sent a new item out! This one worked for longer but not as long as you'd like for the amount being paid!! + because it is a week over the 1 year warranty (rules are rules) they are not able to replace or refund the item! I do not leave reviews often but I am just disappointed in the life of the item. If you pay a decent amount of money for something, you'd expect it to last a couple of years at least!Take care and buy carefully!

This does NOT have an mug/cup overfill facility. Great for economy when you get used to remembering to turn it off.Floods for first few days. Now i only put in what water I need to fill the mug as it has an auto cut off when empty. Also stand mug in a small tray to catch any overfill.
