I wasn’t expecting much from a bed frame under £35, but this Yaheetech metal bed has completely impressed me. It arrived quickly, well-packaged, and everything was clearly labelled. I managed to assemble it solo in just under an hour with the included tools – no stress, no missing bolts, no mystery wobble.The frame is solid and doesn’t creak at all once tightened properly. It has a surprising weight to it for the price, which gives it a sturdy feel. The black powder-coated finish looks clean and modern, with just enough of that “industrial chic” vibe thanks to the cross-design headboard and footboard.What I really appreciate is the height – with around 32cm clearance, there’s ample space for underbed storage (hello, vacuum bags and shoe boxes). It also feels secure to sleep on – I’m a full-grown adult and the frame easily supports my weight with zero issues.A few things to note:No mattress included, obviously, but it fits my standard UK single perfectly.The slats are metal, not wood, so no box spring needed – just plop your mattress down and you’re good to go.The instructions were visual and easy to follow – IKEA could learn a thing or two.If you’re after a budget-friendly bed for a guest room, teenager, or yourself, this is a no-brainer. It feels like it should cost twice as much. Highly recommended.

Delighted with this purchase which I made for my elderly mother who just wanted a single bed. This is an excellent, superb value, lovely frame and you just need to buy a standard size single mattress which I obviously did. Firstly, the packaging etc. was all brilliant, everything was very well organised and well wrapped with each piece of the frame and each package of bolts etc all letter labelled (i.e numbered parts) meaning it’s incredibly simple to follow the well written, straightforward instructions - you just use the Allen key provided to put A into B etc. and I think it would be pretty difficult to mess assembly up. I assembled it on my own at a very leisurely pace in under 90 mins but I’m actually quite slow and pragmatic so most people could do it in half that time or less if they set about it. It doesn’t need two people to do it either although I guess having a hand would speed things up. Bottom line - it’s all very easy to build with absolutely no confusion. Good attention to detail on all the little things too like extra pieces just in case, bevelled spacers for the rounded/ curved bars instead of the usual flat ones which end up bent out of shape etc. Seems very sturdy, looks the part, perfectly level, well manufactured and it has a good finish to it. Don’t write many reviews but I felt obliged to in this case as I usually find tasks like this daunting/a hassle plus it’s normally the case that if you buy cheap you buy twice. Not in this case, it ticks every box. Obviously, given the structure of the frame, it’s unlikely to handle you jumping up and down on it like a trampoline regardless of the quality of the mattress you use so if you’re buying it for a cheeky little rascal be sure to tell them not to do so but that’s clearly common sense. When shopping I looked at many equivalently priced options that were just the most basic of frames without the nice, relatively ornate head and foot board like this one has. In summary, great price, contemporary, looks really good, it’s sturdy, suitable for anyone except gigantic sized basketball players and although it could be easily disassembled it’s just as easily picked up in its entirety and moved as it’s lightweight (without being flimsy in any way). Can’t find a single thing to gripe about to be frank, I genuinely think it’s a great bargain.

It took me 2 hours to assemble this bed single handed. The instructions were easy to follow it was just a long process and if you over tighten the screws they make a pinging noise and come loose so you have to retighten them. This is my only complaint. Very happy will the final result. Nice looking, sturdy bed. Excellent value.

Got this for my other bedroom—really happy with it. Easy to put together , instructions were clear, everything was labelled, and the finish is really nice.It’s sturdy, looks good, and way better than most cheap frames I looked at. Lightweight but solid. Honestly, didn’t expect it to be this good for the price. Would buy again.

Legitimately fantastic little bed, super sturdy, doesn't look or feel cheap. Can't believe how good it is for the price. Easy to put together. Mattress sits on there soild no wiggling or sliding off.

Incredibly comfortable, incredibly sturdy, incredibly easy to build, plenty of storage space underneath, looks sleek and the best part, incredibly cheap! What more can I say? You can’t go wrong with this bed!

Bloody brilliant for less than £40! Sturdy (which shocked me because of the price) and easy to assemble. Brought for the teenager and she's happy with it. On the other hand I have already noted a con for this bed, that pesky middle leg already claimed a big toe stump (Ouchie is not the word I used)Highly recommend
