Solid quality
My daughter is 4’10” so reaching things in her closet can be challenging. This is a great addition. I love the handle cut out on the top step. The first step is roughly 10” high and the top is about 20”. It’s roughly a foot and a half squared so good stability.I did find snapping off a few toothpicks and putting them in the hole allowed the screw to grip better. Beautiful natural Acadia wood.

Nice quality, very tall
This stool is so pretty. Nice wood. The stain is not as dark as the picture, but wood has variation. It was easy enough to assemble. You do have to make sure it’s even before tightening the bolts. Dropped down to 4 stars because one of holes for the bolts was stripped— the bolt won’t tighten all the way. Still feels very sturdy regardless.Make sure to measure! This stool is large and my very high up. I would not trust my toddler to stand on this without very close supervision, and even then, I’d be nervous. It is a great height to sit on, though. Originally got to use as a side table for my bedroom, but it was a little too large and is more practical at the end of my bed to put socks on and what not and to help my toddler climb into our bed in the morning (over rugs and bedding).

Much more attractive that plastic than a plastic stool
Just right for when you need that extra foot or foot and a half of height. This looks like a nice piece of furniture. I have limited space and so when not in use for its intended purpose this sits next to my bed as a nightstand to put my phone and other EDC items on it for the night.

Sturdy, beautiful wood and craftsmanship
This stool was so easy to put together, and feels super sturdy, strong, and solid. Visually, it is also so beautiful! I use it currently as a plant stand and it fits in so well with the aesthetic of our home. Highly recommend.

Step cracked when I putting it together- no response from vendor
The last step in construction is putting the little step on. The problem with this is that the screw goes in right where the pieced together step is the weakest - you can see it in the pictures. The step split on the one side immediately as I was constructing it. I reached out to the vendor and asked them for help with no response. I filled it in with wood filler but you can still see it. Pretty shoddy.

SIMPLE DESIGN - PROFOUND BEAUTY
The stool when completed is really beautiful. The instructions are good.During the preliminary inventory I noted that there was a Allen Wrench to tighten the big screws. For the smaller slightly shorter screws, you will need the a proper screwdriver. There were a couple of areas where a little guess work augmented by common sense were usedhis stool is pretty straight forward conventional construction so highly detailed instructions should not be needed. In my opinion the most important step is the inventory of all the Acacia wood pieces and hardware needed for the project. I laid them out in order. I thought that it might be helpful if I identified the parts in the order that they will be called for in construction of the stool. (See Images)The Acacia wood grain is beautiful. The stool is a classic beauty. It is a solid as the rock of Gibraltar. It is easy to assemble, beautiful Acacia, Solid, very modest price, representing great value.I rate it with five BIG Stars for overall value and esthetic beauty. It is a keeper for my narrow galley kitchen. I intend to use it as a seat whereupon I shall enjoy my morning toast and coffee.

looks good, easy to put together
Nice little step stool, easy to put together and looks good. It doesn't collapse or fold up, but it's easy to pick up & move around. The description has this rated for up to 250lbs - I weigh 170 and it supports my weight just fine, but it moves just enough under my weight that I suspect they're not joking about the 250lb limit.Overall a good stool that won't look out of place in a child's room or kitchen corner.
