I thought my washtubs were clogged but it turned out to be the main drain next to them! I tried plungers and augers on the main but could not get it running. I poured about a cup of this stuff in, closed up the cover, then after reading other comments about 30 minutes not being enough, I went to bed. In the morning, I ran hot water in the washtubs and it started to fill up again! I was so disappointed... I didn't have the money for one of those contract roto rooter guys! THEN as the cold water ran out of the pipes and hot water from the tank started to warm the water, there was a miracle!! The water started to suck right down in that glorious whirlpool of speedy draining! I cried with joy! My dogs put their paws on the side of the washtubs to see why I was so excited with tears of elation welling up in my eyes! I decided I shouldn't tell them that it was likely their hair that had caused the clog and there was a bath in their near future.

Followed directions and poured half of the bottle down drain and waited 30 minuets. Then flushed and nothing happened. IN the past with other products I could hear and smell something happening as soon as the product hit the water in the pipe. So I called the plumber and scheduled an appointment two days later. The bottle has two doses and I wasn't sure of how to dispose the second half so I dumped it down the drain. Same reaction, nothing happened. Next morning I ran the water and the drain was clear and running line a new drain. Thirty minuets is just not enough.

After living in a rental for 2.5 years with constant (continuous) issues with the kitchen sink I had spent all kinds of money, the landlord has had the plunber out 2 or 3 times. Nothing has worked to clear the pipe and keep it clear. I have used pure lye, I have used Drano, Green Gobbler, a snake, vinegar and baking soda. Literally NOTHING worked. The sink would back up, the damn thing would drain super slow.I ran hot water down, poured 16oz of Pequa in, let it sit for about 5 minutes then flushed with hot water, barely any movement. I ran more hot water down, poured the remaining Pequa in, let it sit 10 minutes and flushed with super hot water. The drain cleared faster but not as fast as it should. I kept running hot water, flushing and flushing until I was certain the Pequa had cleared the line enough, and then I used the pure lye. I flushed and flushed with hot water. Lo and behold, the line cleared completely. After 2.5 years of insane problems the drain was clear.I don't recommend mixing the Pequa and lye, just using the lye as chaser after the Pequa has cleared the path.

My sink's drain was terribly slow for months, despite all the baking soda and vinegar I used. I had reason to believe that hair and, perhaps, tooth powder were contributing to the clogging. I used the entire bottle, let it sit for a few hours, flushed it with boiling water, and have decent draining since. (I have fine motor difficulties, so I could not remove the stopper and manually clean the drain.)I'm sorry I had not known that a local shop does carry the product. It would have cost me half what it did on Amazon.

Our bathtub had a clog from hair that we couldn’t get rid of for a week, in spite of using two bottles of household drain cleaner and a great deal of plunging! I was dreading calling our handyman so it was a delight when this formula turned out to be all the reviewers promised. Took a while to work, of course, but by morning we had our tub back! Plus, half the bottle is leftover just in case it’s ever needed again. I would definitely recommend this drain cleaner. Requires extremely careful handling, but it’s worth it!

The only drain cleaner I use now. I’ve tried them all and my shower drain is a pain in the butt. The drain clogs constantly (I’ve had plumbers in, they’ve snaked, I’ve snaked and nothing fixes it). When I use this product it works great. I believe I have an issue further down the line where things back up but this seems to fix my issue for a few months.Pour it in, wait 30 mins and run hot water. Simple.

I've gone through bottles and bottles Draino with varying, but often minimal, results. My dad picked up a bottle of this for me and it's all I've been using ever since.Use half the bottle and let it sit for more than half an hour. I've found 2 - 3 hours works the best followed by flushing with really hot water. I've used this on my bathtub drain and my bathroom sink.Highly, highly recommend!!

Unfortunately you cannot buy this in some parts of the country, so Amazon may be the only hope of getting it. When all else fails to open a sluggish or clogged drain, look no further than this product. It dissolves everything short of solid objects.
