Predator Vs. Wolverine: 1

Most fun Marvel I’ve read in ages
This was what fans of Predator and Wolverine have wanted it’s not quite as good as the classic Batman vs Predator of the 90’s but it’s still good and a lot of fun. It’s a full on throwback to the 80’s/90’s in tone with Wolverine just being a badass but also with a Predator that is actually shown to be a relentless adversary. It’s a little short but punchy story definitely worth a read. Also some nice little references to the predator franchise with this Predator using a full arsenal of iconic weapons and a few throw away lines from the films.

The ultimate hunt Vs. The ultimate hunter
This book was everything I wanted it to be. It is a great quick (impossible yo put down) read of blood, guts, and violence. Just what I would expect from these two. When a young Predator (the Predator species is given a name I this book), is a young man who seemingly can not be killed a blood hint through the century is born. Will the Predator finally claim his great trophy, or will Wolverine once again prove he is the best at what he does? This book was years in the making and worth it. It is great having the old Wolverine back, and he is against a worthy opponent. I like the different artwork for the different eras and creative teams. This book is the violence feast it is supposed to be. The book finishes with a thumbnail variant cover gallery.

Action packed
Excellent read due to the epic sequence of events from start to finish. Amazing artwork. Loved this release. Here's hoping for more!

Could have been epic, but just pedestrian.
This was a massive missed opportunity, Wolverine vs Predator is a match made in heaven. But sadly let down by weak writing and massively variable artwork. These two characters throwing down should have matched the original Predator crossover "Batman vs Predator". Given Wolverine's slow aging the idea of a hunt crossing more than a hundred years should have worked perfectly. Sadly the planning, storyboarding & writing is massively variable. This needed a single writer with a clear vision. Some of the segments are excellent, some border on weak fanfiction. The lack of one artist also hinders this volume, as so often nowadays there are multiple and clashing artists used, some of the art is great, but some is lousy if I am honest.Overall, it's a fun read and about 2/3's of it is worthwhile. I am just shocked how Marvel could mess what should have been a slam dunk up.

Better Story
Pretty interesting in my own words., but lacking storyline and depth. Hopefully someone can upgrade their word choice and create a comic worth looking at for an hour

Been waiting for this!
Since the Predator popped his claws in the original 1987 film of the same name, I've imagined a showdown with Wolverine. We finally get one in this time hopping story that showcases the two icons of pop culture duking it out over multiple decades. At times the story seemed drawn out to pad the page count, but the art was so damn great, I didn't even mind. If you are a fan of the Predator (the alien species, not the horrible film) and Wolverine...this is the story for you. It arrived quickly and in mint condition, not that that matters, as I've already loaned it to several of my friends, who like me, saw Predator in the theatres back in the day! Everyone has been eager to read it...and so YOU should be!

fun story, great art, good writing
Really well-paced. The story beats are great and the plot lines blend really well. I was skeptical, but the mashup of IPs worked really well,
