The future is orange.....
As someone who had never played a FPS game before, I plumped for the Sony's flagship Killzone Trilogy to give me my first taste of what I had been missing out on & I have to say, I wasn't disappointed, even if I have only played the single player campaigns on them rather than the multi-player. The original Killzone is obviously an HD version of the PS2 version so is visually the weakest of the bunch here, however, apart from the cut scenes (which do look dated) and some noticeable pop-up on outdoor areas (not a game breaker), the actual in-game engine still looks good today and the game play is first rate, personally this was probably my favourite game of the trilogy due to its slower pace and the opportunity to select 4 different characters as the game progresses - Luger was my favourite as her silenced weapon is both accurate & powerful, particularly useful for head shots & instant kills. Killzone 2 ups the ante, not only with regard to much improved graphics but also a slight spike in difficulty/number of Helghast enemies to deal with - again, gameplay & gunplay are extremely satisfying with some very intense infantry style battles through the streets of Helghan. Killzone 3 again gives us yet more graphical improvements and the gameplay is just as good/satisfying as part 2, my only gripe with the 3rd instalment was the number of vehicular type levels which seemed to be more numerous in this game, almost as if the developers were starting to run out of ideas by this stage etc. Overall, I enjoyed this trilogy immensely and it has given me a thirst to try lots more FPS games, so if you are thinking of buying this Killzone Trilogy boxset then I definitely recommend it.

Excellent Choice!
The remaster of the first Killzone is really good. The other two are as awesome as ever!

DLC Expired
Excellent buy, nicer than the Game exclusive UK edition, as this is a single case.Sadly the DLC voucher included has now expired as of the 10th of October 2013. Loaded up my US PSN account to double check and can definitely confirm the DLC voucher has expired.Still if you're a Killzone fan or you want to play the series before Killzone 4 arrives in a month this is a great buy.Highly recommended.

DLC/Map pack unavailable outside of North America
I have not played the game yet so no review for the game here, I am posting this review to remind anyone that might buy this that the PSN code for the DLC and map pack will not work outside of the USA and Canada. The game works fine almost all the games for the Playstation 3 are region free, the DLC and maps are downloaded from the Playstation Network though and the code is invalid outside of the North American continent. Not a huge problem, especially at this price.
