Bought to replace brake on walker. Worked good.

You probably need a "handy" person to help out with the installation, but it works!This part looks nearly identical to the Drive Rollator walker I replaced it on. A baggage handler broke the handle on ours, so I used their reimbursement to try replacing this part instead of the entire walker. I thought it would be super simple, but there's details about install that aren't clear in the description of this part...What may not be obvious is you have to get the old handle grips off before you can slide the old brake handle off and the new one on. Try removing yours now and see if it's on very tightly. Just know that it must come off first.My approach was to use a hair dryer, and pry a small screwdriver under it to carefully loosen it without damaging the metal rod beneath. I spent probably 30 minutes just wrestling this thing and heating it and making very slow progress before finally it popped off.Everything else about installation was easy. I will say the spring near the brakes needed a little compressing and finagling in order to fit it into place. I also had to test the brakes, fiddle with the spring and loosen/re-tighten the bolts there to get the brake working properly.

Over all, this item is good. The one thing though is that the cable in the handle assembly, will come out of the cable bracket if your not careful. Overall, works well as replacement on Nova rollator. The price point is good.
