Perfect
Worked straight from the packet. Each of the three plugs numbered one, two or three. Simple remote with buttons marked 1, 2 or 3 and on or off buttons alongside. No adjustments or frequency set up required unless you particularly want to change them to avoid interference with another gadget. I am currently stuck in bed but can control everything I want around the room using the remote control including an electric fire. Perfect, good value, practical and simple. Thanks.

Works Well with No Configuration
Bought these to turn Christmas lights on and off without the usual battle beneath the trees. Have put them in the living room and the hall and also at the back of the detached garage where our outside lights are plugged in. To be honest, I didn't expect the garage one to work, but it does. We can operate the lights from our living room - no problem. The only "complaint" I have about the switches is that they come in a pre-sealed plastic container that I found difficult to open even with a good pair of sharp scissors.

Great, very easy to use, plug in and you're done.
At the moment I only have one of these in use. The tv one, which is the biggest power eater in our house and the reason I wanted to buy these.I think they are great for the price. Not fancy setting up, looking up codes etc etc. Plug these into the socket, plug your appliance into them and you're done. Each plug is separately numbered as is the remote. The remote is small but not so small that you can't see the buttons.Occasionally I find that it takes a couple of goes for the standby light on the tv to switch off and every once in a while it's like a delayed reaction. Just don't assume it has gone off. We're only talking seconds. Are these the best energy saving plugs out there? Probably not. They're not linked to Alexa or anyother all singing and dancing hifi equipment. Do they do the job properly for a good price. YES.

So easy to use.
Brilliant product. The buttons on the remote are very clear and they respond well. I have used this form of switching lights on and off for a few years now because of advancing age. Would not go back to conventional switches.

Keeping a cool head
This was a reward to myself for finishing a big piece of work. I have a head that boils and freezes independently of the rest of my being so I have a fan which is on and off hundreds of times a day. This means I have to keep disrupting my work (I work from home) and moving my computer off my lap, getting out of my chair to turn the thing on and off every few minutes. This remote controlled plug is PERFECT. On and off, on and off, 10 times an hour with ease.I haven't used the other two sockets in the set yet, but I will probably use one on a lamp and the other, not sure.Update: I've had these 5 years now - wow!- I didn't realize it was that long! All 3 have been in full yes for 4 years since I moved flats. One of them is just beginning to play up a little (randomly switches off) but it's no big deal, I just restart (using the remote). I did check it was the switch not the device plugged in to it by changing devices & plug sockets and its definitely one of the 3 plugs.
