Nice little Uke but covered in mould
I've dabbled a little in the Ukulele and found it quite easy to play. So when I was offered this carbon fibre constructed Uke I thought I'd give it a try.First things first. When the Ukulele arrived after unpacking it I found it was covered in black mould. I tried cleaning it but with the finish being white it was still stained. While there was a smell of solvent from the manufacturing process there was also an underlying damp smell. So I contacted Amazon and had a replacement sent. The replacement still had some signs of mould but far less and the damp smell was absent. Neither was packed with any silica desiccant and neither case showed signs of mould.Inside the box you get a case with the Ukulele inside, a set of spare strings, a capo, a very shot strap, and some documentation. The Uke is based on a single cut design of a popular guitar. The finish appears to be a satin white with a few minor flaws and blemishes. The tuners are diecast and geared, unlike a lot of budget ukes. The case is padded and actually quite good for the price point. The capo is very basic and made of a light plastic but still does the job. Tuning the uke up it took a little while for the strings to settle. It is reasonable stable though does need a slight tweak now and again as it goes a little flat. With it tuned up it plays quite nicely. The composite materials are never going to feel or sound like a good tonewood, but they are considerable step up from typical entry level instrument.I like this little uke quite a lot. It comes with some useful accessories and its miniature LP design looks quite smart(though iam not sure of the "jam" over the sound hole). It plays well and holds a good tune. However I can't overlook the condition that they arrived in. With both having mould, and other reviews mentioning it too, it's clear that it wasn't just a one off.

Good uke, bad strap.
I really like the uke, came with a few scratches but I can overlook that. Although, the strap is a bit small. As in small enough that it would only fit a baby, like an actual toddler.

Good little ukele.
Not my first ukulele but I hadn't ordered a Carbon Fibre one.The Ukulele came massively out of tune (to be expect) and was fairly easy to sort this out. It also comes with a capo which I was happy with!If you're looking for a cheap starter one I'd recommend this.

A unique lightweight Uke
A nice little soprano uke, lightweight and unique material. Needed tuning like all ukes out of the box but once tuned it played very nicely. The sound with this material is different from a wooden uke but not in a bad way, a decent beginner uke in my opinion.

It's worth getting a good one like this
A good friend of mine bought me a simple ukulele some years ago in an attempt to have me learn how to play. I gave it a go but didn’t have any success, and after a while left it to one side. I’ve given it another try having had this RockJam model and I must say it’s been a lot better. This instrument feels nicer to use, and to be honest it doesn’t feel like a toy which may be part of the reason I feel happier practicing with it.Mine is the black-coloured version and it looks great. It arrived in perfect, spotless condition complete with a good case to keep it in and various useful accessories included in the box. It didn’t have a tuner but luckily I already had a small electronic device which I’d used with my old ukulele and that has helped me to tune it quite easily. It seems that even with learner models of ukulele it’s worth getting a good one, and I’m pleased that I’ve now got this one.

Very nice
Normally the 'learner' products look cheap and break easily. This no only looks good but has excellent build quality and has me enjoying some online lessons already.Great product and everything you need to get going.
