Cat seems to go crazy for them - me, not so :-)
So, the cat was immediately into these and pestered me whilst I was trying to open the first one as she could obviously smell what was coming. I am not commenting on the taste as.... I am not a cat and didn't try one. However, a word of caution - when trying to open the pack with the rip-off top the pack squirted a fountain of fish juice as I opened it which landed on my jeans. For some time later I could smell fish wherever I went - and then discovered that some of the juice had hit my beard and tainted me. As a vegetarian I wasn't best impressed, so just be careful how you open the pack - aim it away from you, or anything else you don't want to be fishy.Cat ate it in an instant, so it was a good treat for her. Not sure what the "broth" bit is all about as it comes as a kind of fillet (or steak strip?) - not usre how to describe it.Anyway, I am now the cat's best friend - or is it because my beard smells of fish???

The healthiest treat to excite and nourish my kitty!
I believe you are what you eat and so i don't give my kitty cheap corner shop rubbish. I'm lower class but i will always buy the best quality cat food i can afford. It ensures my kitty is the healthiest he can be and no doubt will help prevent issues down the line too! These tuna fillets therefore caught my attention. What's a better treat than proper meat for a protein loving kitty? My kitty has grown to devoir, cherish and lap up and even steal every morsel of these grilled tuna steaks. I have to now ensure the tuna fillets are stored in a closed cupboard since i have awoken to empty packets with several puncture wounds! Naught kitty had been helping himself haha! Whoops. I like to give him one either every day or every other day. I try not to over give since he will start to refuse his normal cat food if i do since these are so tasty! I serve them whole as they come out the packet. My 6 month old kitten has no issues biting into them and chewing them to pieces himself. They are very tender and moist, not like dry tinned tuna at all. I tried a small piece myself, it taste so so good and very moist. My cat loves the broth however i was a little unimpressed by the volume, whilst delicious the amount is lacking and he'd of certainly appreciated more broth. Regardless my cat loves these! My kitty loves them so much that as soon as i pull out an unopened packet he gets so excited!!!! He claws at them as if to say " hurry up already" haha. He has no patience because he loves them so incredibly much! The best thing is these natural tuna fillets are so rich in natural protein and goodness that i feel good giving them to him. They will certainly be doing him good!Value wise ...... let your kitty decide! I say the pleasure i get from seeing my kitty so happy and excited to be enjoying a delicious moist slab of tuna that keeps him full for a while speaks for its self. I spend more on am occasional takeaway for me and my partner. This is like 12 kitty takeaways that are actually healthy!!!! Therefore i can't deny him them. I will be getting more! They are the highlight of his day! So exceptional value i'd say that works out at less than £2 a meal that'll see kittys eyes light up!

Eagerly devoured
I've tried both the chicken (in chicken broth) and tuna (in tuna broth) version of this. I have one cat who is a chicken lover, and one a tuna lover, so I tested them each on the respective cats and both devoured them eagerly. There's hardly any "broth" as mentioned in the description, but the flesh of both is quite moist. I regularly cook a bit of chicken breast for my chicken loving cat which comes out a lot drier than this, so I think this is tastier, and the portion size is similar to what I give her each time I give her a bit of chicken. However it's quite a pricey way of giving a chicken treat compared to what I do, buying a pack of chicken breasts, cooking one and freezing the others individually to cook at a later date, and giving her a bit of the breast over 4 or 5 days keeping the remainder in the fridge. Plus there's a lot of unrecyclable plastic packaging here.Feeding my other cat tuna is a bit more problematic because once the tin is opened it starts to go from pink to that "grey" colour rather quickly even if refrigerated and the cat will start to turn her nose up at it after a while. I wish I could get smaller tins. From this point of view these packs are more practicable and probably more cost effective because there's no waste, but again all the plastic packaging is off-putting.

This is yummy, mummy :)!
I have two adored baby cats, Luna and Sol. Luna is almost ten years old and the Queen. Sol is almost four years old and a rescue, more so, a walk-in. I say “walk-in” because he just appeared out of nowhere in our garden after my Sasha died. He looked terrible, was emaciated and had thin and coarse fur. Now, he is a mummy`s boy, and we have reached new milestones ever since he arrived.Luna looks like a teddy bear and is as big as one :D, weighing just under 7 kg. I must help and support her in losing some pounds and being supple; hence, I changed her wet diet and snackies. I give her wet food with less than 0.5% fat content, more or less pure tuna and chicken breast.I was excited to find the grilled tuna fillets for her because I used to buy these from the supermarket for her. The individually wrapped fillets look and smell tasty. You can see it is more or less pure tuna flesh, having a whooping 88.2% tuna. The rest is tuna extract and vitamin E for gorgeous fur. I always check the nutritional information and protein intake. I graduated last year with a BSc in Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Conservation and have studied Animal Nutrition in-depth, which allows me to make informed decisions for my babies` health and well-being.While Luna ate the entire fillet when offered, Sol only ate half. Nonetheless, Sol has very strict preferences for food and only eats cat soup for wet food. Therefore, his eating half a fillet was a win, which means that Luna will probably enjoy most of the fillets. As a cat mum and animal scientist, I am thrilled with the quality of the snacks. I am giving my babies a healthy tuna fillet as a snack instead of fattening ones. The proof is in the pudding for us 😊!
